Gekke titel he? Dat komt door het thema van #wirlackierendenSommerbunt challenge van Iris van PinselPoesie en Anna van @aenn.es van deze week. Het thema heet “Innere Ruhe” en gaat erom wat je ontspant. Ik haal mijn ontspanning uit onder andere tuinieren en luisteren naar muziek. Ik vond een leuke afbeelding op een Dashica stempelplaat en ik heb mijn kleurinspiratie uit de tuin gehaald. Strange title on this blog post right? Its called “Innere Ruhe” and is about the things that relax you the most. It relaxes me to work in our garden (not too big, but a nice size for our urban area) and another activity that relaxes me is to listen to music. Deze zondag heb ik volgende lootje getrokken: Cherry Tomato. Nu had ik mij voorgenomen (doordat ik het zo mooi vond combineren toen alle nagellakken door elkaar stonden) deze kleur te combineren met Palace Blue, Sailor Blue en Lime Punch. Dus deze zondag doen we nog een keer een geometrisch design. Today I drawed this lot: Cherry Tomato. When I saw alle the nail polishes of the Pantone palette together, I really liked this colour in combination with Palace Blue, Sailor Blue and Lime Punch. So this week it is geometry again. Ik ben benieuwd wat ik deze zondag ga maken! Het thema deze week bij #wirlackierendenSommerbunt is “Geoliebe” (liefde voor geometrie). Ik heb daarom mijn nieuwe essence stempelplaat met geometrische vormen gepakt. Nu mijn lootje: het is Rapture Rose! Leuk, hier krijg ik wel een idee bij! I am excited what kind of nails it will be today! This weeks theme with #wirlackierendenSommerbunt is “Geoliebe” (love for geometry). So I picked my new essence stamping plate with geometric designs. Now my draw: it’s Rapture Rose! Nice, I have ideas with this one! Naast Rapture Rose (OPI Suzi has a swede tooth) en de essence stempelplaat, koos ik voor Coconut Milk (Essie sweet soufflé). I pakte ook mijn zwarte stempellak van Nicole Diary. With Rapture Rose (OPI Suzi has a swede tooth) and the essence plate, I chose Coconut Milk (Essie sweet soufflé). En weer is er een maand voorbij! Hier is mijn vorige Pantone update post. Maar nu is het tijd om te kijken naar de kleuren van deze maand. Another month has gone by! Here is my last Pantone update post. Now it is time to look at the colours of this month. In juni zijn de volgende kleuren voorbij gekomen: Blooming Dahlia, Sailor Blue, Spring Crocus en Lime Punch. Als bonus laat ik ook de kleuren zien die ik had gemist: Meadowlark en Cherry Tomato. Mei is voorbijgevlogen! Ik heb weer een update van de Pantone challenge. Mijn eerste post is hier en de tweede hier. May has gone so quickly! I have another update of the Pantone challenge. The first post is here and the second is here. In Mei zijn de volgende kleuren langsgekomen: Coconut Milk, Palace Blue, Warm Sand en Arcadia. Ik laat weer eerst de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder zien en daarbij de swatches uit mijn eigen collectie. Treasures lost under the sea

To celebrate 1k followers@thenailpolishhoarder has a giveaway with the theme “Treasures lost under the sea”. My first thought was pirates! And the hunt for lost pirate treasures! To set myself an extra challenge I decided to do a one label only mani (except for stamping polish). In my collection of plates I found a Dashica SdP plate with a pirate theme and I found a BornPretty plate with wave-like swirls. And in the stash the label of choice became OPI because of all the beautiful blue shades I own. Het is alweer een maand geleden dat ik mijn eerste deel van de Pantone challenge schreef. Tijd voor een update! It’s been a month since I wrote the first post about the Pantone challenge. Time for an update! De afgelopen maand zijn deze kleuren geweest: Nile Green, Rapture Rose, Harbor Mist, Spiced Apple en Ash rose. Ik zal de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder laten zien en de swatches uit mijn eigen collectie. King's Day manicure

Vandaag is het Koningsdag! Ik post nu even snel mijn nagels, want zometeen gaan we naar de vrijmarkt en de kermis! Today is King’s Day! I do a quick post of my nails, because in a moment we are going to the flea market and fair! De kleurtjes van deze manicure zijn niet echt origineel: oranje, rood, wit en blauw. Toch is het wel grappig hoe ik op het idee kwam, namelijk door de display van Essie met de koningsdag selectie in de drogist. Ik onderdrukte de neiging om deze nagellakken te kopen en ging bij thuiskomst shoppen in de stash. The colours of this manicure are not really surprising: orange, red, white and blue. Vrolijk Pasen allemaal! Voor Pasen wilde ik met zachte pastels werken. Ik vind dat gewoon bij Pasen passen! Net als eieren, paasontbijt en chocola. Happy Easter everyone! For my Easter manicure I wanted to work with soft pastels. I think that it suits with Easter! Just like eggs, Easter breakfast and chocolate. Ik koos deze kleurtjes voor de basis. Ik doe dat met mijn stempel en stempelmat en je kan er verschillende tutorials voor vinden. I chose these colours for the base. Ok, ik woon in Nederland en vier geen St. Patrick’s, maar de groene kleurtjes geven zo’n fijn lente gevoel!
