Deze ronde bij When Colours Collide had de thema kleuren Geel, Oranje en Zwart. Dit heb ik ervan gemaakt. This round of When Colours Collide had the theme colours Yellow, Orange and Black. This is what I made. Ik gebruikte oranje als accent kleur en geel als basis. Op alle nagels stempelde ik hetzelfde patroon in zwart. Op de oranje nagel zette ik met een dotting tool kleine stipjes binnen het patroon. I used orange as the accent colour and yellow as the base colour. On all nails I stamped the same image in black stamping polish. On the orange nail I added small yellow dots with a dotting tool following the stamped image. Deze ronde van When Colours Collide heeft de themakleuren Blauw en Wit. This round of When Colours Collide had the theme colours Blue and White. Ik heb ervoor gekozen de abstracte kant op te gaan. De blauwe stempellak en nagellak zijn hetzelfde als twee weken geleden. I chose to make an abstract nail art with the blue stamping polish and nail polish of two weeks earlier. In deze mooie nazomer week, zat er in eens een atalanta vlinder op de hortensia. Weet je nog van de libelle die eerder deze zomer in de tuin zat? Nu kon ik deze mooi poserende vlinder natuurlijk ook niet overslaan als inspiratie voor nail art. Deze ronde van When Colours Collide was met de kleuren Bruin en Paars. Een beetje herfstig al, terwijl het nog volop (na)zomerweer is. Dus hield ik het op een abstract ontwerp. This round of When Colours Collide had the theme colours Brown and Purple. A bit autumnal, while it’s really sunny weather here in the Netherlands. So I decided on an abstract design. Ik lakte twee laagjes Catrice Brown Collection 01 Fashion Addicted als basis en stempelde er een abstract, wat art deco achtig, patroon overheen in paars. Het was niet makkelijk om het op camera vast te leggen! I painted two coats of Catrice Brown Collection 01 Fashion Addicted as base. On top I stamped in purple an abstract pattern that reminds me of Art Deco. It was difficult to capture on camera! Deze ronde van When Colours Collide had het thema “Bright”, heldere kleuren dus. Je mocht zwart en wit als accentkleuren gebruiken. Opnieuw ging ik voor vakantie inspiratie en maakte een tropisch koraalrif – soort van 😅. Ooit, voordat er kinderen kwamen, zijn Man en ik op duikvakantie geweest in het Caraïbisch gebied. Mooie herinneringen die best een keer op de nagels mogen worden geschilderd! This round of When Colours Collide was with the theme “Bright colours”. A little bit of black or white was allowed for accents. Again I chose holidays as my inspiration and made a tropical reef – or something resembling 😅. Once before we became parents, Husband and I want on a diving holiday in the Caribbean. Good memories that deserve to be painted on my nails! Fijne Paasdagen!

Het was de eerste feestdag in coronatijd. En wat ging het anders dan normaal! Ik ga daarom niet te veel stil staan bij “normaal”, maar vertellen hoe we het toch feestelijk hebben gemaakt. This was the first holiday during the time with COVID-19 measures. And that meant a completely different style of celebration. I’m not going to dwell to much on the “normal” celebrations, but explain how we still managed to have a festive time. Allereerst hebben we lekker eten in huis gehaald. Alles voor een lekker paasontbijt, maar ook wat spullen voor de barbecue. Het is mooi weer, dus ook de barbecue kan weer aan. Ook hebben we wat paasversiering neergezet. Om drukte voor te zijn, hebben we al vroeg een wandeling gemaakt bij ons in de buurt. En daarna hebben we genoten van de tuin. Een aantal foto’s van de lente in de tuin staan onderaan de post. De vorige ronde van When Colours Collide was met de kleuren Paars, Zwart en Koper. Ik maakte toen deze nail art. Last time with When Colours Collide had the theme colours Purple, Black and Copper. I created this nail art. Ik gebruikte Catrice ICONails 69 If Not Purple… Then What? als basis. Daarover stempelde ik in zwart een stippenpatroon. Over de grote stippen plaatste ik met mijn dotting tool in koper nieuwe stippen. I used Catrice ICONails 69 If Not Purple… Then What? as my base colour. On top I stamped in black a dotted pattern. Over the larger dots I placed new dots in copper using a dotting tool. De afgelopen keer bij When Colours Collide was het thema Groen. Alle kleuren groen waren toegestaan. Dit is wat ik maakte. Last round with When Colours Collide had the theme colour Green. All shades of green were allowed, this is what I made. Ik heb mijn nagels een frisse groene kleur gelakt met DA Nails nagellak in de kleur Pea Green. Daarover stempelde ik dit krullerige patroon dat mij wat Keltisch aandeed. I painted all my nails in a springy green shade called Pea Green by DA Nails. Deze keer bij When Colours Collide was het thema de kleuren Paars, Oranje en Wit. Mijn inspiratie voor deze kleur was bloemen en dit is het geworden. This time with When Colours Collide the theme was the colours Purple, Orange and White. I thought florals and this is what I made. Ik heb het paars als basis gebruikt. Op twee nagels heb ik een ingekleurde stempel geplaatst en op de andere nagels twee stippen met een dotting tool. I used purple as the base colour. On two nails I placed a floral reverse stamped image. On all other nails I placed two orange dots with a dotting tool.
