Vandaag heb ik een nieuw lootje getrokken uit mijn potje met alle kleurtjes van het Pantone palet voorjaar 2018. Dit keer is het Blooming Dahlia. Dit vond ik zo’n lief en zoet kleurtje, dat ik besloot mijn ontwerp in die richting te doen. Today I made a new draw from my jar with all the colours of the Pantone seasonal palette spring 2018. This time it is Blooming Dahlia. This is such a cute and sweet colour, that I decided to incorporate that in my design. Ik vond het moeilijk om binnen het seizoenspalet een passende kleur te vinden. Uiteindelijk heb ik gekozen voor (mijn iets donkerdere interpretatie van) Spiced Apple. Ik zag een andere combinatie, maar die vond ik mooier met kleurtjes die niet in mijn Pantone selectie zaten. Dus die komt later deze week voorbij. 😁 It was difficult to match this shade with another colour within the seasonal palette. Ik ben benieuwd wat ik deze zondag ga maken! Het thema deze week bij #wirlackierendenSommerbunt is “Geoliebe” (liefde voor geometrie). Ik heb daarom mijn nieuwe essence stempelplaat met geometrische vormen gepakt. Nu mijn lootje: het is Rapture Rose! Leuk, hier krijg ik wel een idee bij! I am excited what kind of nails it will be today! This weeks theme with #wirlackierendenSommerbunt is “Geoliebe” (love for geometry). So I picked my new essence stamping plate with geometric designs. Now my draw: it’s Rapture Rose! Nice, I have ideas with this one! Naast Rapture Rose (OPI Suzi has a swede tooth) en de essence stempelplaat, koos ik voor Coconut Milk (Essie sweet soufflĂ©). I pakte ook mijn zwarte stempellak van Nicole Diary. With Rapture Rose (OPI Suzi has a swede tooth) and the essence plate, I chose Coconut Milk (Essie sweet soufflĂ©). Bruine nagels in de zomer?

Ik mis de Pantone challenge. Zo dat is er uit! Het was zo leuk om iedere week weer door de nagellak collectie te gaan en daar de beste match te zoeken. Daarom heb ik besloten om nu een maand lang elke zondag met de nagellak kleurtjes die ik heb gekozen voor de Pantone challenge nail art te maken. Ik heb lootjes gemaakt en trek iedere keer een kleur van het palet en ga er mee aan de slag. Ik mag van mijzelf de kleur aanvullen met andere opties uit het seizoenspalet. Als eerste heb ik getrokken

En toen was het al zondag en tijd voor een nieuwe post. Mijn laatste post in de Pantone serie had ik al voorbereid, maar mijn eigen post nog niet. Dus heb ik zojuist maar even snel mijn nagels gedaan en foto’s gemaakt! And then it was already Sunday and time to post. Mei is voorbijgevlogen! Ik heb weer een update van de Pantone challenge. Mijn eerste post is hier en de tweede hier. May has gone so quickly! I have another update of the Pantone challenge. The first post is here and the second is here. In Mei zijn de volgende kleuren langsgekomen: Coconut Milk, Palace Blue, Warm Sand en Arcadia. Ik laat weer eerst de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder zien en daarbij de swatches uit mijn eigen collectie. Deze nail art is geĂŻnspireerd op een aantal mooie nagels gemaakt door andere dames. Kant past erg bij bruiden en de nude basis maakt het heel draagbaar. Dit is ook mijn laatste trouwnagel idee in de serie. Volgende week wil ik het over iets anders hebben. This nail art is inspired by pictures of beautiful nails I saw on other ladies. Lace is beautiful for weddings and the nude base makes it very wearable. This is also my final bridal nail art of this month. In de taal van de bloemen zijn de rozen HET symbool voor liefde. Daarom heb ik in mijn romantische meimaand deze nail art met rozen gemaakt. In the language of flowers roses are THE symbol of love. So I created a nail art with delicate roses in this romantic May theme. Ik heb op alle nagels een laagje Essie Gel Couture lace me up gelakt en daarover een laagje Essie Gel Couture blush-worthy (uit de wedding collection met Monique Lhuillier). Op mijn ringvinger stempelde ik de rozen van Moyra stamping plate mini series no. 104. I painted on all nails one medium thick coat of Essie Gel Couture lace me up and on top of it a layer Essie Gel Couture blush-worthy (from the wedding collection by Monique Lhuillier). Het is alweer een maand geleden dat ik mijn eerste deel van de Pantone challenge schreef. Tijd voor een update! It’s been a month since I wrote the first post about the Pantone challenge. Time for an update! De afgelopen maand zijn deze kleuren geweest: Nile Green, Rapture Rose, Harbor Mist, Spiced Apple en Ash rose. Ik zal de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder laten zien en de swatches uit mijn eigen collectie. Vandaag is het Koningsdag! Ik post nu even snel mijn nagels, want zometeen gaan we naar de vrijmarkt en de kermis! Today is King’s Day! I do a quick post of my nails, because in a moment we are going to the flea market and fair! De kleurtjes van deze manicure zijn niet echt origineel: oranje, rood, wit en blauw. Toch is het wel grappig hoe ik op het idee kwam, namelijk door de display van Essie met de koningsdag selectie in de drogist. Ik onderdrukte de neiging om deze nagellakken te kopen en ging bij thuiskomst shoppen in de stash. The colours of this manicure are not really surprising: orange, red, white and blue. It is still a funny story how it came together. I was in the drugstore and saw the Essie display for King’s Day.
