Het was een winterse week met bij ons een paar sneeuwdagen. Inmiddels is alles alweer weg. Neemt niet weg dat het mijn inspiratie is voor deze nail art! It’s been a cold winter week with a couple of snow days. Yesterday all the snow has melted away. But it’s still a great inspiration for nail art! Ik heb mijn duim, wijsvinger er pink gelakt met A England Symphony in Blue and Silver, mijn middelvinger en ringvinger heb ik gelakt met Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer 52 Another Day, Another Blue. Ik houd er niet zo van om over holo lak te stempelen (daarvoor vind ik ze te mooi), dus wisselde ik af met deze lichtblauwe metallic lak van Catrice. Nu ik de het hele herfst/winter palet van Pantone erop heb zitten, is het wel passend dat ik jullie voorstel aan de kleur van het jaar 2019: Living Coral. Deze levendige koraaltint met een gouden ondertoon is door Pantone verkozen tot kleur van het jaar, omdat we met alle digitale technologie en sociale media behoefte hebben authenticiteit en connectie. Als eerste wil ik jullie vertellen dat mijn blog Jackie’s Spare Moments morgen 1 jaar bestaat! Ik kan het niet geloven dat het zo snel is gegaan. Ik heb iets meer dan 100 blog posts geschreven en ik hoop dat het komende jaar weer te doen! First I want to tell you that tomorrow my blog will turn 1! De eerste opdracht voor 2019 bij When Colours Collide is nail art met de kleuren Groen, Blauw en Oranje. Omdat het mij leuk leek om het nieuwe jaar te starten met een nieuwe techniek, is het een abstract ontwerp geworden. Sinds een tijdje doe ik mee aan de Facebook Challenge groep When Colours Collide. Dit is een tweewekelijkse nail art challenge groep waarbij de kleuren door de admins worden gekozen. Een aantal van deze nail arts staan alleen op mijn instagram, maar ik vanaf laat ik deze nail arts ook mijn blog zien. Ik ben heel blij dat ik jullie kan vertellen dat Maria van @TheNailPolishHoarder de herfst/winter kleuren van Pantone opnieuw als challenge houdt. Maar voordat ik jullie de nieuwe kleuren laat zien, zal ik de collage tonen van de lente/zomer editie. Het is speciaal door Maria gemaakt voor de super deelnemers. Het is bijna Halloween! Ik zal eerlijk bekennen dat ik niet zo veel met dit feest heb. Ik bewonder de griezelige kunstwerken op nagels op instagram, maar ik heb zelf geprobeerd het wat minder griezelig te houden. It’s almost Halloween. I’ll be honest and tell you that it’s not really my kind of party. I admire the scary art work of other ladies on Instagram, but I tried to make less scary nails. Ik koos er paars bij, maar ik liet mijn ringvinger vrij. Eerst wilde ik er het bekende lintje op zetten in donkerroze, maar later zag ik er van af. Vandaag laat ik een foil nail art zien met Catrice ICONails 61 Me, Myself and My Polish. Ik heb mij aangemeld bij een collab groep voor foil nail art nu ik weer in het bezit ben van foil glue! Deze groep is georganiseerd door Lisa. Dit is ook de laatste aflevering in de serie met de spullen uit de grote verjaardag giveaway van @maggie_jmr. Maggie heeft zich een keer op insta laten ontvallen dat Royal Blue en zilver haar favoriete kleurencombinatie is voor nail art. Daar ben ik mee aan de slag gegaan!
