Het is bijna Halloween! Ik zal eerlijk bekennen dat ik niet zo veel met dit feest heb. Ik bewonder de griezelige kunstwerken op nagels op instagram, maar ik heb zelf geprobeerd het wat minder griezelig te houden.

It’s almost Halloween. I’ll be honest and tell you that it’s not really my kind of party. I admire the scary art work of other ladies on Instagram, but I tried to make less scary nails.

Roze nail art voor Halloween

De eerste nail art die ik maakte is roze! In oktober wordt ook altijd onder de noemer Pinktober aandacht gevraagd voor borstkanker. Ik koos er paars bij, maar ik liet mijn ringvinger vrij. Eerst wilde ik er het bekende lintje op zetten in donkerroze, maar later zag ik er van af. Ik weet uit mijn omgeving dat niet iedere patient op een feestdag aan zijn ziekte herinnert wil worden.

The first Halloween nail art I made is pink! In October with the name Pinktober awareness is raised for breast cancer. I chose purple to go with it, but left my ring finger open. First I wanted to add the famous ribbon on it in dark pink, but making the mani I chose not to. I know from a patient that she does not like to be reminded of her illness on a holiday. 

Uit deze vrolijke stempel haalde ik het heksje om hem nog eens speciaal op mijn pink te zetten.

From this happy template I isolated the witch to place it on my little finger.

Happy Halloween nail art

Van de Born Pretty stempel plaat BP-L099 gebruikte ik de “Happy Halloween” afbeelding. Voor mijn nagels is de afbeelding te breed, dus heb ik hem opgebroken en over twee nagels gebruikt. Tot slot zette ik nog “Boo!” op mijn wijsvinger.

I used Born Pretty stamping plate BP-L099 for this nail art. I chose the “Happy Halloween” image, but it is too wide for my nails. So I decided to break it up and place it over two nails. To finish it off I put the “Boo!” image on my index finger.
