En weer is er een maand voorbij! Hier is mijn vorige Pantone update post. Maar nu is het tijd om te kijken naar de kleuren van deze maand.
Another month has gone by! Here is my last Pantone update post. Now it is time to look at the colours of this month.
In juni zijn de volgende kleuren voorbij gekomen: Blooming Dahlia, Sailor Blue, Spring Crocus en Lime Punch. Als bonus laat ik ook de kleuren zien die ik had gemist: Meadowlark en Cherry Tomato. Ik laat eerst de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder zien en daarnaast de nagellak swatch uit mijn eigen collectie.
June had the following colours: Blooming Dahlia, Sailor Blue, Spring Crocus en Lime Punch. As a bonus I will you show you the colours I missed: Meadowlark and Cherry Tomato. I will show you first the beautiful inspirational collages by TheNailPolishHoarder and next to it the swatches from my stash.
De eerste kleur van deze maand is Blooming Dahlia. Dit is een zachte koraaltint. Ik koos voor Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer 08 Catch of the day. Dit soort koraaltinten zijn erg moeilijk te fotograferen. Vaak worden ze feloranje op mijn camera. Het was mijn derde optie die uiteindelijk op de foto het beste overkwam.
The first colour of this month is Blooming Dahlia. This is a soft coral. I chose Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer 08 Catch of the day. These kind of corals are very difficult to capture on camera. In my situation they often turn bright orange! It was my third pick that photographed best.
De tweede kleur deze maand is Sailor Blue, een donkere navy blauw. I ben gegaan voor OPI I Saw… U Saw… We Saw… Warsaw.
The second colour of this month is Sailor Blue, a dark navy blue. I went with OPI I Saw… U Saw… We Saw… Warsaw.
Daarna volgde Spring Crocus. Dit is een rozige paarstint. Ik koos voor een felle interpretatie met L’Oreal Color Riche 828 Flashing Lilac. Dit is een neon, dus ik heb een witte basis gebruikt en een flinke laag top coat, omdat ze mat opdroogt.
Sailor Blue was followed by Spring Crocus. This is a pinkish purple. I chose for a bright interpretation with L’Oreal Color Riche 828 Flashing Lilac. This is a neon, so I used a white base and a generous layer of top coat. because she dries down matte.
Tot slot kwam Lime Punch, een felle geel-groene neon kleur. Ik vond hiervoor Models Own Flip Flop als match. Dit is ook de allerlaatste kleur in de challenge.
The final one this month and of the overall challenge is Lime Punch, a bright yellow-green neon. I found a match in Models Own Flip Flop.
Als bonus laat ik jullie nog de twee kleuren zien die ik heb gemist. Het is toch leuker om een challenge af te ronden als je echt alle kleuren hebt gehad! Als eerste bonuskleur laat ik Meadowlark zien. Meadowlark is een zonnige geeltint. Ik heb hierbij gekozen voor L’Oreal Color Rich 834 Banana Pop.

Dan is het nu de beurt aan echt mijn allerlaatste swatch in deze challenge: Cherry Tomato, een oranjerode kleur. Ik heb een match gevonden in Ciaté Paint Pots PP013 sherbet fizz. Het is een crelly, dus je ziet hier drie laagjes (normaal doe ik overal twee laagjes van).
Now is the turn of my final and very last swatch in this challenge: Cherry Tomato, an orangey red. I found a match in Ciaté Paint Pots PP013 sherbet fizz. It’s a crelly, so it’s three layers (I normally do two layers of everything).
Dat was het dus! Ik heb mijn eerste challenge volbracht. Nu maar eens nadenken of ik een andere challenge ga oppakken. Ik heb er al eentje gezien… maar ik houd het nog even stil of ik het ga doen 😊
This is it! I finished my first challenge. I am now thinking of starting another challenge. I saw one that seemed interesting… but I will not say anything yet 😊
