Nadat ik vorig jaar mijn eerste Wikkid polishes had gewonnen en ik zelfs met kerst een Wikkid had gedragen, heb ik voor het eerst een eigen bestelling geplaatst. Ik heb zes lakjes gekozen en in deze post laat ik er vier zien. Ik laat twee thermal lakken zien (lakken die qua kleur temperatuur gevoelig zijn) en twee multichrome lakken met holografische glitters. After winning my first Wikkid polishes last year and even wearing a Wikkid for Christmas, I finally ordered some polishes by myself. I placed an order of six polishes in total and today I will show you four. I will show you the two thermal polishes I ordered (polishes that change colour with the temperature) and two polishes that are multichromes with holo glitters. Voor het eerst sinds jaren weer carnaval gevierd, maar nu met de kinderen erbij! Mijn broer en zijn gezin wonen in een stad waar carnaval goed gevierd wordt. We hebben naar de kinderoptocht gekeken. Uiteraard waren we allemaal verkleed. De kids hadden de kostuums voor papa en mama uitgekozen en zo waren wij Mario en Prinses Peach. For the first time in a couple of years we celebrated carnaval, kids included! My brother and his family live in a town where carnaval is really celebrated. We watched the junior parade. Catrice heeft het assortiment vernieuwd en ik heb een aantal leuke dingen meegenomen. Ik weet niet of ik alles speciale aandacht ga geven in de blog, maar twee lakken van de nieuwe lijn “More than nude” nagellakken wilde ik je wel laten zien. In totaal bestaat deze lijn uit 5 tinten. Het zijn allemaal transparante lakken met een shimmer die je nagels er net even wat mooier en gezonder uit laten zien. Ik vond er een roze Morgan Taylor lak en ik gebruik hem vandaag voor mijn eerste Valentijns nail art van het seizoen. What would you do if you don’t make the free delivery mark of Amazon? Als eerste wil ik jullie vertellen dat mijn blog Jackie’s Spare Moments morgen 1 jaar bestaat! Ik kan het niet geloven dat het zo snel is gegaan. Ongeveer twee weken geleden gingen Man en ik winkelen in de outlet van Roermond. Ik hoopte nog wat kleding te vinden (man slaagde, ik niet), maar ik kwam er een outlet winkel tegen van L’Oreal. Ze hadden er make-up en nagellak van diverse L’Oreal merken, zoals L’Oreal, Maybelline en Essie. Ik heb toen in totaal zes Essie Gel Couture lakken gekocht. De vier meer neutrale kleuren laat ik in deze post zien. About two weeks ago Husband and I went outlet shopping in Roermond. I hoped to buy some clothes (Husband did, I didn’t), but I found an outlet store of L’Oreal. They sold make-up and nail polish by different L’Oreal brands, like L’Oreal, Maybelline and Essie. Zoals ik afgelopen woensdag schreef, heb ik vier nagellakjes van Masura met Kerst gekregen. In deze post laat ik de swatches zien. Ik had een reepje winterzon, dus excuses voor de achtergrond. Maar ik vond het toch erg leuk om deze nagellakken in verschillende lichtomstandigheden te laten zien. Like I wrote last Wednesday, I received four Masura polishes for Christmas. In this blog post I want to show you the swatches. I had some winter sun, so I apologise for the background. But I think it’s interesting to show the polishes in different lighting situations. We zijn weer een maand verder, tijd voor een nieuw overzicht van de herfst/winter editie van de Pantone challenge. Ik heb deze keer voor jullie drie kleuren. Alle collages zijn weer van The NailPolishHoarder It’s been a month, time for an update of the Autumn / Winter edition of the Pantone challenge. I have three shades today. All inspirational collages are by The NailPolishHoarder Martini Olive Martini Olive is een zo’n lastige kleur om te matchen. Het is een groene kleur met een goudbruine ondertoon. Uiteindelijk heb ik een aantal Herome nagellakken gekocht, voor alle kleuren die ik nog niet had voor de challenge. Voor Martini Olive heb ik nummer 63 gekocht. Op de foto draag ik twee laagjes. Martini Olive was a very difficult colour to match. It’s a green shade with golden brown undertones. In the end I went to the drugstore and bought some Herome nail polishes, also for the other missing shades in the challenge. For Martini Olive I bought number 63. I wear two coats on the photo. Afgelopen zomer heb ik een van mijn nagellakwensen in vervulling laten gaan. Ik heb een serie nagellakken van A-England besteld. Er was zoveel te vertellen op de blog dat ik er nu pas aan toe kom om er aandacht aan te geven. Vandaag laat ik de kleurtjes zien die ik het beste vind passen bij het herfst/winter seizoen. Helaas had ik geen zon op mijn swatch / fotodag, daarom zijn alle lakken bij bewolkt daglicht gefotografeerd. Dit betekend dat ik jullie niet de prachtige holo kan laten zien. Ik heb alle lakken in twee laagjes aangebracht met daarover een top coat. Last summer I fulfilled one of my nail polish wishes by ordering some polishes by the indie brand A-England. I had so much to tell on the blog, that they had to wait until today for some well deserved attention. I will swatch my favourite five for autumn/ winter season. Ik ben heel blij dat ik jullie kan vertellen dat Maria van @TheNailPolishHoarder de herfst/winter kleuren van Pantone opnieuw als challenge houdt. Maar voordat ik jullie de nieuwe kleuren laat zien, zal ik de collage tonen van de lente/zomer editie. Het is speciaal door Maria gemaakt voor de super deelnemers. Before I show you the new colours of this season, I will show you the collage of the spring/summer edition. It was made by Maria for the super participants. Dit zijn de kleuren van de nieuwe editie. Er zitten een paar lastige tussen, zeg ik zo op het eerste gezicht. Andere kleuren lijken erg op het vorige seizoen. Dus daarin zit de uitdaging niet hetzelfde potje te pakken.
