Nieuwe nagellak van essence

Vorige maand was er een grote nagellak actie bij een bekende Nederlandse drogist. Ik heb toen flink mijn slag geslagen! Ik zal zo af en toe een nieuw lakje laten zien, maar deze was te leuk. We hebben het over Essence Out of space stories 08 guardians of the unicorn. Last month a well known Dutch drugstore had a big nail polish sale. I scored really well! I will show you some of my new purchases from time to time, but this one is just too cute. We are talking about Essence Out of space stories 08 guardians of the unicorn. Ik houd van dit kleurtje! Het is vrolijk en combineert lila met blauw. Ik heb L’Oréal l’huille nagellak in de kleur 671 Monsieur Bleu erbij gepakt voor deze zomerse combinatie. I just love this colour! It is cheerful and lilac with blue. I grabbed L’Oréal l’huille nail polish in the colour 671 Monsieur Bleu and used this summery combination. Delicate roses

In de taal van de bloemen zijn de rozen HET symbool voor liefde. Daarom heb ik in mijn romantische meimaand deze nail art met rozen gemaakt. In the language of flowers roses are THE symbol of love. So I created a nail art with delicate roses in this romantic May theme. Ik heb op alle nagels een laagje Essie Gel Couture lace me up gelakt en daarover een laagje Essie Gel Couture blush-worthy (uit de wedding collection met Monique Lhuillier). Op mijn ringvinger stempelde ik de rozen van Moyra stamping plate mini series no. 104. I painted on all nails one medium thick coat of Essie Gel Couture lace me up and on top of it a layer Essie Gel Couture blush-worthy (from the wedding collection by Monique Lhuillier). Het is alweer een maand geleden dat ik mijn eerste deel van de Pantone challenge schreef. Tijd voor een update! It’s been a month since I wrote the first post about the Pantone challenge. Time for an update! De afgelopen maand zijn deze kleuren geweest: Nile Green, Rapture Rose, Harbor Mist, Spiced Apple en Ash rose. Ik zal de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder laten zien en de swatches uit mijn eigen collectie. Vorige week heb ik al verteld dat ik een nieuw merk stempelplaat had gekocht: Moyou London. Deze week heb ik met deze stempelplaat een heel andere manicure gemaakt. Het neutrale grijs paste heel goed bij mijn activiteiten van afgelopen week, nu had ik zin in meer kleur! Lente bloesem kleuren! Last week I wrote that I bought a new stamping plate: a Moyou London plate. This week I made a completely different manicure with this plate. Mijn eerste MoYou plaat 1

Nu ik de stap heb gemaakt naar online, kom ik een heleboel nieuwe ideeën tegen. In mijn collectie stempelplaten zit veel Dashica en BornPretty. Maar daar is nu een nieuw merk bijgekomen: ik heb mijn eerste MoYou London plaat gekocht! I have come across a lot of new ideas now I that I have taken the step to go online. I have many stamping plates by Dashica and BornPretty in my collection. And now a new label has joined: I bought my first MoYou London plate! De stempels op deze plaat zijn vrij klein. Ideaal als je kortere nagels hebt zoals ik, voor langere nagels zijn er XL versies. The stamps on this plate are small. Ideal for short nails, for longer nails they have XL versions. Ik kreeg inspiratie voor twee verschillende nail arts. Deze week laat ik de eerste zien. I was immediately inspired to do two different nail arts. This week I will show you the first one. Hot pink

Soms heb je zin om een niet subtiel kleurtje te dragen en dat heel subtiel te versieren. Sometimes you just fancy wearing a not so subtle colour with very subtle art. Ik werd er gewoon blij van toen ik het net op had gedaan. Ik had dit weekeinde de kolder in mijn kop en rondom het huis heel veel werk gedaan. Lente kriebels en dus ook lente schoonmaak in de tuin! Dat zie je ook aan mijn handen. Maar met trouw smeren, zullen mijn handen zo weer zacht zijn. I was just happy when I saw the result. I have had some mad days where I did a lot of work around the house. It starts to feel like spring and I worked hard on the garden cleanup for spring! It shows on my hands. I promise to moisturise them regularly. That way my hands will be soft again soon. Treat, love & color

Soms heb je een kleurtje nodig dat alles in een is en iedereen blij maakt. Voor mij is dat Essie TLC  in sheers to you. Sometimes you need a colour that is all-in-one and makes everybody happy. For me that is Essie TLC sheers to you. Ik heb drie laagjes opgebracht, geen base, geen top. Omdat het anders wel heel braaf en saai is, heb ik nog een stempel van een gestileerde tulp erop gezet. I painted three layers, no base, no top. To prevent it from being too plain and boring, I stamped a stylised tulip on it. Producten die ik heb gebruikt: Essence colour boost 01 Instant friendship (Essence die wel lekker stempelt!), Essie Treat Love & Color sheers to you en Dashica plaat SdP-81. Wat ik op Valentijn wel droeg

Na de subtiele nagels van vorige week, maakte ik het voor mijn uiteindelijke Valentijnsnagels een stuk feller van kleur! After de subtle look of last week, I choose much brighter colours for the real look I sported for Valentines! Op de accentnagel zit de lichtgrijze Catrice Spectralight nagellak in 05 holo enchantment. Op de foto wilde het niet zo tonen, maar in de zon zijn er echt wel regenbogen! For the accent nail I went with the light grey Catrice Spectralight polish in 05 holo enchantment. It doesn’t show on the picture, but in sunlight it throws subtle rainbows! Dit heb ik gebruikt: Spectralight nagellak in 05 holo enchantment, essence Out of Space 04 beam me up!, essence 002 stamp me! black en Dashica plaat SdP-84. Zeer subtiele Valentijns nail art

Ik zag deze nagellakken staan van Essence Wood you love me? en die moesten mee naar huis. Ik vond de kleurtjes lief en de ‘high covering’ belofte maakte mij nieuwsgierig of ze zouden stempelen. Ik kreeg gelijk inspiratie voor Valentijn. I saw these Essence Wood you love me? polishes and they just had to come home with me. The colours are very sweet and the ‘ high covering’  promise made me curious if they would stamp. I instantly had inspiration for Valentine’s. Ik koos voor een plaat van Moyra, waarop een lieve hartjes afbeelding staat. En dan de nagels, zou het stempelen succesvol zijn? I choose a Moyra plate with a sweet heart pattern. And now on to the nails, was stamping successful? Zoals je kunt zien was het heeeeel subtiel. Je kan het hartjespatroon nauwelijks zien. Kleurtjes zijn lief en combineren mooi. Voor het stempelen kan je beter een ander lakje pakken! As you can see, it turned out to be really really subtle. You can barely see the heart pattern. The colours are …

Oudroze, taupe en wat glitter

Het grijze winterweer deed mij wat vergrijsde kleuren pakken. Om het niet al te somber te laten worden, koos ik nog wat sparkles erbij. The overcast winter skies made me feel into greyish tints. To make things not too moody, I chose to add some sparkle. Je kan duidelijk aan mijn handen zien dat het winter is… ik zal meer hand creme en nagelolie smeren! It shows on my hands that it is winter… I will put on hand cream and cuticle oil more often! Ik heb een stempelplaat gebruikt van YZWLE (gevonden op AliExpress).
