Eindelijk eens een When Colours Collide op de datum dat de collage is vrijgegeven! Deze keer was het thema Zwart en Blauw. At last I’ve managed a When Colours Collide post on the date of the collage! This round the theme colours were Black and Blue. Als basis gebruikte ik blauwe nagellak, namelijk OPI Tile Art To Warm Your Heart. Daarover stempelde ik met zwart dit geometrische patroon. In principe staat het horizontaal op de stempelplaat, maar mijn nagels zijn zo kort dat ik het ook net verticaal kan plaatsen! As base I chose a blue polish, OPI Tile Art To Warm Your Heart. I stamped with black a geometric pattern. On the stamping plate the pattern is placed horizontally like on my ring finger. Het klopt dat het vandaag 1 maart is, maar ik laat nu pas op de blog mijn nail art zien die ik heb gemaakt voor de (bi-)Monthly Music Mani collab: Duets. Eigenlijk waren we met dit thema nog in Valentijnssferen. We hebben allemaal een duet gekozen en ons daardoor laten inspireren voor nail art. Het is een tijd geleden dat ik een post op woensdag had! Maar voor Valentijnsdag heb ik er gewoon tijd voor gemaakt. Dit zijn mijn nagels, helemaal klaar voor Valentijnsdag aanstaande vrijdag. It’s been a while since I published a post on Wednesday! For Valentine’s Day I made the extra effort. Here are my nails, ready for Friday. Op mijn nagels (behalve mijn accent nagel) heb ik drie laagjes ILNP Gumdrop. Dit is een heel lief kleurtje met een holo glitter. Op mijn accentnagels heb ik twee laagjes van Essie peak show. Dit is een limited edition Essie van een paar jaar geleden en ik had het al een hele tijd niet meer gedragen. Maar wat is dit een fijne bijna witte nagellak. De eerste kleurencombinatie van 2020 voor When Colours Collide is Paars, Beige en Bruin. Maar voordat ik deze laat zien, wil ik mijn collage laten zien met al mijn nail arts voor When Colours Collide van 2019! The first colour combo this year for When Colours Collide is Purple, Beige and Brown. Before I’ll show my nail art, I want to show you the collage for my year with When Colours Collide 2019! Ik heb maar een keer verstek moeten laten gaan. Het was een kleurrijk jaar! Op naar een nieuw jaar met vast weer veel leuke kleuren combinaties. I only missed one prompt. It was a colourful year. Ik heb door onze koperen bruiloft deze keer van When Colours Collide niet op tijd op de blog gekregen. Dus nu met wat vertraging! Het thema was Holo en Zwart. Because of the celebration of our Wedding Anniversary I lacked the time to write a post for this round of When Colours Collide. The theme colours were Holo and black. It’s been some weeks since I made this nail art, so let’s put it here! Het is helaas het verkeerde seizoen (bewolkt en regenachtig) om het holografische effect van deze nagellakken vast te leggen. Ik moest met lamplicht werken, vanwege het bewolkte en regenachtige weer. Als basis gebruikte ik Essie Of Quartz en ik kleurde de stempels in met Essie You’re A Gem en Wikkid Polish Helene (H). It’s sadly the wrong season to show holo in pictures (overcast skies and rainy weather). It was overcast and rainy all the time, so I had to work with artificial light. Nadat ik bij het swatchen van deze collectie had gemerkt dat sommige lakken zo goed gepigmenteerd waren, was ik nieuwsgierig of ik er ook mee zou kunnen stempelen. After swatching this collection and noticing the pigmentation in some of the polishes, I was curious if I could also stamp with these polishes. En zoals je ziet, ja dat kan! Als basis gebruikte ik Catrice Pure Simplicity LE C02 Naked Petals. Op mijn wijsvinger en middelvinger stempelde ik met Catrice Pure Simplicity LE C01 Rosy Verve en op mijn ringvinger en pink Catrice Pure Simplicity LE C04 Moody Plum. Rosy Verve en Moody Plum pakten goed op en hebben voldoende pigment om een duidelijke stempel te maken. Ik heb niet echt over een design gedacht, maar gewoon heerlijk wat plaatjes uitgeprobeerd van een nieuwe stempelplaat van KADS. And yes they stamp! As my base colour I chose Catrice Pure Simplicity LE C02 Naked Petals. On my pointer finger and middle finger nails I stamped with Catrice Pure Simplicity LE C01 Rosy Verve and on my other …

Deze keer bij When Colours Collide de kleuren waren Zwart, Goud en Zilver. Ik heb net een marble stempelplaat ontvangen, dus ik heb die ingewijd met deze kleuren. This time with When Colours Collide the theme was Black, Gold and Silver. I have just received a layered marble stamping plate and I decided to use it right away. De kinderen gaan weer naar school en ook de andere activiteiten gaan weer opstarten. Dit seizoen gaat Dochter dansen in de volgende groep bij ballet. Dat is best spannend, omdat er ook een aantal oudere meisjes bij zitten. Om de spanning op een leuke manier af te leiden, mocht Dochter mijn nail art voor deze week uitzoeken en je raadt het al: het werd een ballet nail art! Hier vind je mijn vorige ballerina nail art. Ik heb weer een aantal stempelplaten bij KADS besteld. Nadat mijn eerste ervaring zo-zo was, heb ik nu een aantal hele leuke platen bij KADS besteld. Daarbij heb ik ook een paar stempellakken besteld en nu alles binnen is wil ik met jullie naar deze twee stempelplaten en een groene stempellak kijken. I placed a new order with KADS for stamping plates and stamping polishes. After my first so-so experience, I think I have recieved some really nice plates. Now I have received everything I want to look at two stamping plates and a green stamping polish. De stempelplaten FLOWER 043 en 044 zijn samen te gebruiken om middels double stamping diverse bloemen- en bladerafbeeldingen te creëren. Ik heb een takje van de plaat FLOWER 044 gecombineerd met een bloem van de FLOWER 043. The stamping plates FLOWER 043 and 044 can be used together to create several flower and leaves images. Deze ronde van When Colours Collide was Neon. Dus alle felle neon kleuren en indien nodig voor je nail art mocht je ook nog een beetje zwart of wit gebruiken. This round of When Colours Collide was Neon. So all bright neon colours were allowed and if needed for your nail art you could also use some black or white. Het was leuk om mijn neon nagellakken uit te zoeken. Ik koos uiteindelijk voor geel, groen en roze met een accent in zwart en wit. Ik gebruikte een nieuwe KADS stempelplaat met kleine patronen, die ook heel geschikt zijn om gezamenlijk gebruikt te worden. It was fun going through my neon nail polishes. In the end I chose for yellow, green and pink with an accent of black and white. I used a new KADS stamping plate with small patterns, that is also very suitable for layered stamping.
