Bij de #wirlackierendenSommerbunt challenge van Iris van PinselPoesie en Anna van @aenn.es  gaan we het deze week hebben over “Lieblingslack”. Je favoriete nagellak dus. Ik heb gekozen voor de lak die ik het meeste draag. I chose the nail polish I wear most often. Or more correct, the two polishes I wear most often. Op mijn werk is het vaak niet mogelijk om nail art te dragen. Dat ligt niet aan mijn werkgever (als beide handen gelijk zijn, is het eigenlijk ok), maar het zijn onze klanten. En weer is er een maand voorbij! Hier is mijn vorige Pantone update post. Maar nu is het tijd om te kijken naar de kleuren van deze maand. Another month has gone by! Here is my last Pantone update post. Now it is time to look at the colours of this month. In juni zijn de volgende kleuren voorbij gekomen: Blooming Dahlia, Sailor Blue, Spring Crocus en Lime Punch. Als bonus laat ik ook de kleuren zien die ik had gemist: Meadowlark en Cherry Tomato. Nu ik een paar maanden aan het bloggen ben, wissel ik veel vaker mijn nagellak dan zeg een jaar geleden. Ik was gewend om minstens vijf dagen met een manicure te doen! Ik merkte dat mijn nagels het niet zo fijn vonden om iedere keer weer door de remover te moeten. Een rondje surfen en reviews later vond ik een aantal opties: na remover een oliebadje doen, peel-off base en soak off gel base. Een oliebadje na iedere keer mijn nagels schoonmaken leek mij erg onhandig. Nagellak hecht slecht op een vette ondergrond. Dus al dat goeds moet je er eerst weer goed afhalen voordat je kan lakken. Een peel-off base coat leek mij aantrekkelijk, totdat ik van verschillende dames las dat ze veel verkleuring in hun nagels krijgen. Mijn echte leven vraagt van mij dat ik soms met sheer nude polish moet rondlopen (ja ik kom wel eens op heel formele plaatsen…) en dan is verkleuring in je nagels erg onhandig. Mei is voorbijgevlogen! Ik heb weer een update van de Pantone challenge. Mijn eerste post is hier en de tweede hier. May has gone so quickly! I have another update of the Pantone challenge. The first post is here and the second is here. In Mei zijn de volgende kleuren langsgekomen: Coconut Milk, Palace Blue, Warm Sand en Arcadia. Het is alweer een maand geleden dat ik mijn eerste deel van de Pantone challenge schreef. Tijd voor een update! It’s been a month since I wrote the first post about the Pantone challenge. Time for an update! De afgelopen maand zijn deze kleuren geweest: Nile Green, Rapture Rose, Harbor Mist, Spiced Apple en Ash rose. Ik zal de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder laten zien en de swatches uit mijn eigen collectie. Het was niet makkelijk deze te matchen. Uiteindelijk koos ik voor Sally Hansen Sugar Coat in 600 Sour Apple. Deze is wat lichter dan de echte Nile Green. The first colour this month was Nile Green. Soms heb je zin om een niet subtiel kleurtje te dragen en dat heel subtiel te versieren. Sometimes you just fancy wearing a not so subtle colour with very subtle art. Ik werd er gewoon blij van toen ik het net op had gedaan. Ik had dit weekeinde de kolder in mijn kop en rondom het huis heel veel werk gedaan. Lente kriebels en dus ook lente schoonmaak in de tuin! Dat zie je ook aan mijn handen. Maar met trouw smeren, zullen mijn handen zo weer zacht zijn. I was just happy when I saw the result. I have had some mad days where I did a lot of work around the house. It starts to feel like spring and I worked hard on the garden cleanup for spring! It shows on my hands. I promise to moisturise them regularly. That way my hands will be soft again soon. Op Instagram doe ik mee aan de #itpantone2018 challenge die georganiseerd wordt door @thenailpolishhoarder. Ik houd al jaren de Pantone seizoenskleuren bij, dus ik was heel blij toen ik deze challenge ontdekte! De eerste drie rondes had ik helaas gemist, dat waren Ultra Violet, (paars, de jaarkleur), Meadowlark (geel) en Cherry Tomato (rood). Inmiddels heb ik vijf weken meegedaan en wil ik op de blog de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder laten zien en mijn swatches van kleurtjes uit mijn collectie. On Instagram I participate in the #itpantone2018 challenge hosted by @thenailpolishhoarder. I follow the Pantone seasonal colour palettes since years, so I was very happy when I stumbled upon this challenge! Treat, love & color

Soms heb je een kleurtje nodig dat alles in een is en iedereen blij maakt. Voor mij is dat Essie TLC  in sheers to you. Sometimes you need a colour that is all-in-one and makes everybody happy. For me that is Essie TLC sheers to you. Ik heb drie laagjes opgebracht, geen base, geen top. Omdat het anders wel heel braaf en saai is, heb ik nog een stempel van een gestileerde tulp erop gezet. I painted three layers, no base, no top. To prevent it from being too plain and boring, I stamped a stylised tulip on it. Producten die ik heb gebruikt: Essence colour boost 01 Instant friendship (Essence die wel lekker stempelt!), Essie Treat Love & Color sheers to you en Dashica plaat SdP-81.
