Layered stamping met KADS – 2

Vorige week probeerde ik voor het eerst een layered stamping uit. Ik gebruikte daarvoor KADS Flowers 036. Vandaag gebruik ik deze plaat nog een keer. Ik hoop deze keer op een beter resultaat! Last week I tried a layered stamping design for the first time. I used KADS Flowers 036. Today I use this stamping plate again. I hope with better result this time! Ik pakte deze keer een andere selectie van kleurtjes en koos ook een andere bloem uit op de plaat. Nieuwe nagellak van essence

Vorige maand was er een grote nagellak actie bij een bekende Nederlandse drogist. Ik heb toen flink mijn slag geslagen! Ik zal zo af en toe een nieuw lakje laten zien, maar deze was te leuk. We hebben het over Essence Out of space stories 08 guardians of the unicorn. Last month a well known Dutch drugstore had a big nail polish sale. I scored really well! I will show you some of my new purchases from time to time, but this one is just too cute. We are talking about Essence Out of space stories 08 guardians of the unicorn. Ik houd van dit kleurtje! Het is vrolijk en combineert lila met blauw. Ik heb L’Oréal l’huille nagellak in de kleur 671 Monsieur Bleu erbij gepakt voor deze zomerse combinatie. I just love this colour! It is cheerful and lilac with blue. I grabbed L’Oréal l’huille nail polish in the colour 671 Monsieur Bleu and used this summery combination. Het is alweer een maand geleden dat ik mijn eerste deel van de Pantone challenge schreef. Tijd voor een update! It’s been a month since I wrote the first post about the Pantone challenge. Time for an update! De afgelopen maand zijn deze kleuren geweest: Nile Green, Rapture Rose, Harbor Mist, Spiced Apple en Ash rose. Ik zal de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder laten zien en de swatches uit mijn eigen collectie. Soms heb je zin om een niet subtiel kleurtje te dragen en dat heel subtiel te versieren. Sometimes you just fancy wearing a not so subtle colour with very subtle art. Ik werd er gewoon blij van toen ik het net op had gedaan. Ik had dit weekeinde de kolder in mijn kop en rondom het huis heel veel werk gedaan. Lente kriebels en dus ook lente schoonmaak in de tuin! Dat zie je ook aan mijn handen. Maar met trouw smeren, zullen mijn handen zo weer zacht zijn. I was just happy when I saw the result. I have had some mad days where I did a lot of work around the house. It starts to feel like spring and I worked hard on the garden cleanup for spring! It shows on my hands. I promise to moisturise them regularly. That way my hands will be soft again soon. Vrolijk Pasen allemaal! Voor Pasen wilde ik met zachte pastels werken. Ik vind dat gewoon bij Pasen passen! Net als eieren, paasontbijt en chocola. Happy Easter everyone! For my Easter manicure I wanted to work with soft pastels. I think that it suits with Easter! Just like eggs, Easter breakfast and chocolate. Ik koos deze kleurtjes voor de basis. Ik doe dat met mijn stempel en stempelmat en je kan er verschillende tutorials voor vinden. I chose these colours for the base. Op Instagram doe ik mee aan de #itpantone2018 challenge die georganiseerd wordt door @thenailpolishhoarder. Ik houd al jaren de Pantone seizoenskleuren bij, dus ik was heel blij toen ik deze challenge ontdekte! De eerste drie rondes had ik helaas gemist, dat waren Ultra Violet, (paars, de jaarkleur), Meadowlark (geel) en Cherry Tomato (rood). Inmiddels heb ik vijf weken meegedaan en wil ik op de blog de prachtige inspiratie collages van TheNailPolishHoarder laten zien en mijn swatches van kleurtjes uit mijn collectie. On Instagram I participate in the #itpantone2018 challenge hosted by @thenailpolishhoarder. I follow the Pantone seasonal colour palettes since years, so I was very happy when I stumbled upon this challenge! Essie rose gold

Deze nagellak van Essie Gel Couture Bridal collection ‘To have and to gold’ (2017), keek mij heel lief aan. Dus ging ik er iets moois mee maken. This nail polish of the Essie Gel Couture Bridal collection ‘ To have and to gold’ (2017) was staring at me. So I decided to make something pretty with her. Ik pakte mijn favoriete lichtroze lakjes erbij: Essie Peak Show en L’Oreal Dimanche Apres-Midi. Zoals je ziet zijn deze al flink gebruikt. Ik vind het namelijk erg mooi om een laagje van de L’ Oreal over een laagje van de Essie te doen.  Ik besloot er een takje op te stempelen. Nu is alles nog kaal buiten, maar ik kan niet wachten tot de lente! I picked my favourite light pink nail polishes to go with her: Essie Peak Show and L’ Oreal Dimanche Apres-Midi. Oudroze, taupe en wat glitter

Het grijze winterweer deed mij wat vergrijsde kleuren pakken. Om het niet al te somber te laten worden, koos ik nog wat sparkles erbij. The overcast winter skies made me feel into greyish tints. To make things not too moody, I chose to add some sparkle. Je kan duidelijk aan mijn handen zien dat het winter is… ik zal meer hand creme en nagelolie smeren! It shows on my hands that it is winter… I will put on hand cream and cuticle oil more often! Ik heb een stempelplaat gebruikt van YZWLE (gevonden op AliExpress).
