Ik heb weer een thermo nagellak voor vandaag! Ik heb mij voor de nail art laten inspireren door een eerdere nail art die ik maakte met een thermo nagellak, Wikkid polish Holiday mode. I’m showing another thermal polish today! I shamelessly used an older nail art over a thermo polish as my inspiration. That was Wikkid polish Holiday mode. Maar vandaag hebben we het over Masura Jacaranda Lace. Een paarse thermal die in samenwerking met Hypnotic Polish is gemaakt. Deze nagellak is redelijk makkelijk in drie dunne laagjes aan te brengen. Ik vond deze ook veel prettiger aan te brengen dan Masura Waterfall. Today we’re showing you Masura Jacaranda Lace. It’s a purple thermal that was made in collaboration with hypnotic polish.com. It’s a polish that was pretty easy to paint on in three thin coats. It painted much easier than Masura Waterfall. Als de nagellak warm is, wordt hij wat transparanter. Ik vind dat zelf geen probleem. Deze keer was het thema bij When Colours Collide om nail art te maken in negative space stijl in het wit. Negative space betekent dat de natuurlijke nagel een onderdeel is van het ontwerp. This time with When Colours Collide the theme was negative space in white only. Negative space nail art is a style where the natural nail is part of the design. Ik had een stempelplaat uitgekozen waarbij ik allerlei idee had, maar eenmaal begonnen ging de stempelplaat met mijn idee aan de haal. Ik weet niet of hier mensen zijn die ik begrijp wat ik hiermee bedoel. In ieder geval het resultaat was niet wat ik dacht te maken, maar wel best leuk. Deze keer was het bij de Music Mani Collab het thema: boy or girl band. Hier zijn de kinderen dol het liedje “Wat doe je als het binnen regent” van K3. Dus ik koos voor de girlband K3! This time the theme for the Music Mani Collab was boy or girl band. The kids here love the K3 song “Wat doe je als het binnen regent” or translated “What to do when it’s raining inside”. So I chose the girl band K3. Dit is mijn inspiratiefoto van de video van het liedje. Daarom besloot ik witte nagels te doen met drie zilveren harten van glitters. Na alle hete dagen, had ik zin om geel op mijn nagels te doen. Ik had Catrice ICONails 68 Turn The Lights On nog ongebruikt staan. Dus tijd om deze een keer te pakken! After the hot summer days of the past week, I fancied yellow nails. I had this Catrice polish ICONails 68 Turn The Lights On still with my untrieds. So it’s time to use it! Ik heb hier twee laagjes aangebracht met top coat. Het is een prachtige zonnige geeltint. I’m wearing two coats with top coat. It’s a really beautiful sunny yellow. Na een paar uur, vond ik alleen maar geel een beetje saai. Ik heb toen deze bloemen erop gestempeld. Ik koos voor de stempellak van mijn vorige mani. Ik weet het, dat was wel een beetje lui van mij. Vandaag laat ik een nieuwe nail art zien die opnieuw geïnspireerd is op Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019: Living Coral. Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik ook geïnspireerd raakte door een van de Catrice Galactic Glow toppers. Today I’m showing you a new nail art inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019: Living Coral. Deze ronde van When Colours Collide was Neon. Dus alle felle neon kleuren en indien nodig voor je nail art mocht je ook nog een beetje zwart of wit gebruiken. This round of When Colours Collide was Neon. So all bright neon colours were allowed and if needed for your nail art you could also use some black or white. Het was leuk om mijn neon nagellakken uit te zoeken. Ik koos uiteindelijk voor geel, groen en roze met een accent in zwart en wit. Ik gebruikte een nieuwe KADS stempelplaat met kleine patronen, die ook heel geschikt zijn om gezamenlijk gebruikt te worden. It was fun going through my neon nail polishes. In the end I chose for yellow, green and pink with an accent of black and white. I used a new KADS stamping plate with small patterns, that is also very suitable for layered stamping. Dit weekeinde had Dochter haar grote balletvoorstelling met de hele dansschool. Ik hielp achter de coulissen mee met het maken van knotten, heel veel haarlak opspuiten en het aanbrengen van make up. Om in het thema te blijven droeg ik deze nail art. This weekend was the big ballet show of Daughters dance school. I helped behind the scenes with tying hair in tight ballet buns, using generous amounts of hair spray and applying stage make up. To stay with the theme I wore this nail art. Het is niet vaak dat ik “dubbel” stempel, maar mijn eerste stempels in zilver waren niet heel goed gelukt. Ook in het roze ging het niet perfect, maar samen zag het er best goed uit. Vandaag wil ik jullie deze zeemeermin nail art laten zien, die ik heb gemaakt met één van de Catrice Galactic Glow effect toppers. Today I want to show you this mermaid nail art I made using one of the Catrice Galactic Glow effect toppers. Ik heb mijn nagels lichtblauw gelakt met Essie Gel Couture Getting Intricate. Daarna heb ik op vier nagels Catrice Galactic Glow 08 Follow the Zodiacs aangebracht en eroverheen met donkerblauw het schubbenpatroon gestempeld. Deze ronde van When Colours Collide was met de kleuren Nude (neutraal, huidkleurig) en Goud. Ik heb een aantal favoriete merken voor nude kleuren en deze keer koos ik voor Essie. Om precies te zijn ik koos voor Essie Not just a pretty face. Zoals je straks op de overzichtsfoto kan zien, is deze nagellak regelmatig gebruikt. This round of When Colours Collide was with the colours Nude (neutral, skin tones) and Gold. I use a couple of nail polish brands for my favourite nudes. This time I went with Essie and to be more precise I went with Essie Not just a pretty face. Vandaag laat ik jullie een swatch zien van deze nieuwe groene nagellak van Catrice: Easy Peasy Green Squeezy. Today I’m showing you a swatch of this new green polish by Catrice: Easy Peasy Green Squeezy. Deze prachtige smaragdgroene nagellak lakt heel prettig met de brede kwast. Ik laat hier twee laagjes zien met top coat. This beautiful emerald green nail polish has a peddle brush and paints really well. I’m showing you two coats with top coat. Een vriendin van mij is dol op de combinatie van smaragd met goud, daarom heb ik een dag later mijn swatch opgeleukt met wat nail art. Ik heb op mijn ringvinger een accentkleur gedaan met Essence Cosmic Lights 02 cosmic star. Dit is een gouden metallic nagellak met grove holografische glitters. Helaas creëert de grove glitter een hobbelig oppervlak. Op mijn middelvinger en pink heb ik met goud een bloemenstempel gezet.
