Deze ronde van When Colours Collide is met de kleuren Zwart, Paars en Pastel Blauw. De inspiratiefoto was met rozen. Ik heb daar deze keer gebruik van gemaakt. This time with When Colours Collide it’s the colours Black, Purple and Pastel Blue. The inspiration picture was with roses. This time I used the inspiration picture for my nail art. Ik startte met twee paarse nagels en drie lichtblauwe. Op mijn lichtblauwe nagels sponsde ik wat paars en stempelde ik in zwart een afbeelding van wilde rozen. Helaas vlekte mijn topcoat de zwarte stempellak wat uit. I started with two purple nails and three in pastel blue. I sponged some purple on my pastel blue nails and stamped with black an image with wild roses. Sadly my top coat smudged the black stamping polish. Wat doe je met de kleuren geel, grijs en bruin dacht ik toen ik de nieuwe opdracht van When Colours Collide las. Zonnebloemen? Ik ging mijn stempelplaten door en kwam een grafische bloemenpatroon tegen. Dit heb ik er van gemaakt. What to do with Yellow, Grey and Brown were my thoughts when I read the new challenge of When Colours Collide. Sun flowers maybe? I searched my stamping plates and found a graphic art inspired floral pattern. This is what I made. Ik heb mijn duim en pink bruin gelakt en de overige vingers geel. Op de gele nagels heb ik met grijze stempellak een grafisch bloemenpatroon gestempeld. In het centrum van de bloemen heb ik met een dotting tool bruine stippen gezet. Deze ronde van When Colours Collide is met de kleuren Turquoise, Geel en Roze. De admins wilden voor een 80s vibe gaan en ik heb mijn best gedaan daarmee iets te maken. This time with When Colours Collide it’s the colours Turquoise, Yellow and Pink. The admins wanted to create an 80s vibe and I tried to make a design to keep with the theme. Ik heb twee verschillende stempelplaten gebruikt voor dit ontwerp. Het gele vlak heb ik namelijk ook gestempeld. I used two different stamping plates for this design. I also stamped the yellow part. Drie keer lila nagellak van Catrice

Deze week draag ik een nail art die ik heb gemaakt met drie verschillende lila nagellakken van Catrice. Gewoon omdat ik zin had in pastels. Waarschijnlijk ook doordat ik de hele tijd de warme staat van Masura Jacaranda Lace heb gezien tijdens de hittegolf en een beetje meer kleur wilde, maar ook weer niet te veel. Begrijp je mij nog? And probably also because I was wearing Masura Jacaranda Lace during a heatwave and wanted a little more colour then the warm state of that thermal polish, but also not too much. Catrice Travel ICONails swatches

Toen ik deze display tegenkwam van de Catrice ICONails Travel collectie bij onze drogist, werd ik heel blij. Ik heb meer van deze mini nagellakken van Catrice en wist meteen dat ik ze zou gaan kopen. Ik ontdekte ook, terwijl ik daar stond, dat de grote flesjes speciale verpakkingen zijn van bestaande lakken. Aangezien ik al deze kleuren thuis al in de collectie had, heb ik deze niet gekocht. When I came across this display with the Catrice ICONails Travel collection, I was very happy! I own a couple of other mini Catrice polishes and like them a lot, so I knew I would buy them all. I also found out while reading the names on the bottles, that the regular sizes were all shades from the core collection. I didn’t buy any of them, because they were already sitting in my collection. Na alle hete dagen, had ik zin om geel op mijn nagels te doen. Ik had Catrice ICONails 68 Turn The Lights On nog ongebruikt staan. Dus tijd om deze een keer te pakken! After the hot summer days of the past week, I fancied yellow nails. I had this Catrice polish ICONails 68 Turn The Lights On still with my untrieds. So it’s time to use it! Ik heb hier twee laagjes aangebracht met top coat. Het is een prachtige zonnige geeltint. I’m wearing two coats with top coat. It’s a really beautiful sunny yellow. Na een paar uur, vond ik alleen maar geel een beetje saai. Ik heb toen deze bloemen erop gestempeld. Ik koos voor de stempellak van mijn vorige mani. Ik weet het, dat was wel een beetje lui van mij. Vandaag laat ik een nieuwe nail art zien die opnieuw geïnspireerd is op Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019: Living Coral. Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik ook geïnspireerd raakte door een van de Catrice Galactic Glow toppers. Today I’m showing you a new nail art inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019: Living Coral. But it’s only fair to add that the Catrice Galactic Glow toppers are also part of the inspiration. Ik heb mijn duim, middelvinger en ringvinger gelakt met twee laagjes essence 24 Indian summer met daarover heen één laagje Catrice Galactic Glow 04 Fast As Lightning Speed. Daarna stempelde ik deze nagels met de rozen op stempelplaat BM-715 met Maniology stempellak Rose Garden. Deze stempellak is bijna dezelfde kleur als Catrice ICONails 07 Meet Me At Coral Island. Dit weekeinde had Dochter haar grote balletvoorstelling met de hele dansschool. Ik hielp achter de coulissen mee met het maken van knotten, heel veel haarlak opspuiten en het aanbrengen van make up. Om in het thema te blijven droeg ik deze nail art. This weekend was the big ballet show of Daughters dance school. I helped behind the scenes with tying hair in tight ballet buns, using generous amounts of hair spray and applying stage make up. To stay with the theme I wore this nail art. Het is niet vaak dat ik “dubbel” stempel, maar mijn eerste stempels in zilver waren niet heel goed gelukt. Ook in het roze ging het niet perfect, maar samen zag het er best goed uit. Daarna heb ik op vier nagels Catrice Galactic Glow 08 Follow the Zodiacs aangebracht en eroverheen met donkerblauw het schubbenpatroon gestempeld. Op mijn ringvinger, zonder topper, heb ik een zeemeermin gestempeld. I painted my nails light blue with Esse Gel Couture Getting Intricate. Vandaag laat ik jullie een swatch zien van deze nieuwe groene nagellak van Catrice: Easy Peasy Green Squeezy. Today I’m showing you a swatch of this new green polish by Catrice: Easy Peasy Green Squeezy. Deze prachtige smaragdgroene nagellak lakt heel prettig met de brede kwast. Ik laat hier twee laagjes zien met top coat. This beautiful emerald green nail polish has a peddle brush and paints really well. I’m showing you two coats with top coat. Een vriendin van mij is dol op de combinatie van smaragd met goud, daarom heb ik een dag later mijn swatch opgeleukt met wat nail art. Ik heb op mijn ringvinger een accentkleur gedaan met Essence Cosmic Lights 02 cosmic star. Dit is een gouden metallic nagellak met grove holografische glitters. Helaas creëert de grove glitter een hobbelig oppervlak. Op mijn middelvinger en pink heb ik met goud een bloemenstempel gezet.
