Deze maand startte met de verjaardag van Dochter. De maand eindigde uiteraard met Halloween. Het weer was aanvankelijk rustig herfstweer, maar de maand eindigde met stormachtig herfstweer en veel regen. Ik kwam regelmatig aan het lakken van mijn nagels toe. Ik draag elke manicure met base coat en top coat tenzij anders vermeld. This month started with the birthday of Daughter. The month ended with Halloween. Het is alweer september en dus tijd om jullie te vertellen welke pedicures ik deze zomer heb gedragen. Ik heb elke pedicure ongeveer drie weken gedragen. It’s September and time to tell you about the pedicures I wore this summer. Every pedicure was worn for approximately three weeks. Essie Beach bum blu De eerste pedicure dit seizoen was Essie Beach bum blue, een metallic blauwe nagellak die mij complimenten opleverde. Ik droeg het in twee laagjes. OPI Closer than you might Belém Mijn volgende pedicure was OPI Closer than you might Belém. Deze mintgroene nagellak was dekkend in twee laagjes. My next pedicure was OPI Closer than you might Belém. April was een maand met veel zon en warm weer. In rap tempo werd de wereld weer groen en in bloei. Pasen kwam met een paar vrije dagen. Daarna volgde Koningsdag, dat dit jaar op zaterdag werd gevierd. Ik heb regelmatig mijn nagels kunnen lakken en verschillende lente kleuren gedragen. Ik droeg elke manicure met base coat en top coat, tenzij anders vermeld. April was a sunny month with dry weather that was slightly warmer than average. So the world was quickly full of fresh greenery and flowers. With Easter holiday we had some extra days off. Next came King’s Day, that was celebrated on Saturday this year. Ik heb in februari drie keer per week mijn manicure gewisseld. Daar had ik deze maand tijd voor! Daardoor heb ik een heleboel manicures om te tonen. Alles is gedragen met base coat en top coat, tenzij anders vermeld. I was able to change my manicure three times a week in February. Normally I don’t have time to change it so often. December is een feestmaand met Sinterklaas, Kerst en Oudjaar. Elke manicure heeft deze maand wat nail art gehad. Het weer was deze maand erg grijs. Daardoor was het moeilijk om foto’s te maken van de holografische eigenschappen van de nagellakken. Maar onder onze keukenlampen zag ik vaak wel de sparkles. Alle nagellakken zijn gedragen met base coat en top coat, tenzij anders vermeld. December is a month filled with holidays. First it’s Saint Nicholas, then Christmas and finally New Year’s Eve. Every manicure this month had some nail art. The weather was very overcast this month. That made it difficult to photograph holographic properties of nail polishes. Het is september en het weer begint af te koelen. Zomerschoenen worden al minder gedragen en de tijd van pedicures is bijna voorbij. Tijd om jullie allemaal te vertellen welke nagellakken ik op mijn tenen heb gedragen deze zomer. Ik laat mijn voeten niet zien, maar nagellak swatches op mijn duim. Elke pedicure heb ik ongeveer drie weken gedragen. It’s September and the weather is cooling, so summer shoes are less worn en pedicure time is almost over. Ik droeg deze maand van alles wat en ik probeerde weer eens een meer uitgebreide nail art te maken. Helaas zal ik daar wat meer voor moeten oefenen. Ik was oktober geëindigd met een Halloween nail art en had behoefte aan een reset. Ik vond het een hele geslaagde combinatie. Ik draag hier twee laagjes van Catrice ICONails 99 Sand in Sight! met een laagje Essie as gold as it gets. Uiteraard gecombineerd met een base coat en een top coat. De eerste maand van het nieuwe jaar heb ik nagedacht over blog en nagellak. Mijn goede voornemens zijn: – low buy, – seizoensgebonden selecties maken, – toppers gebruiken en – gewoon mijn collectie gebruiken! De low buy is vanwege opslagruimte. Ik heb nu meer dan 500 nagellakken en niet veel ruimte voor meer. Door seizoensgebonden selecties hoop ik meer van mijn collectie te gebruiken, omdat ik nogal snel neig naar steeds dezelfde nagellakken te gebruiken. Ik heb mijn toppers nu allemaal bij elkaar gezet, zodat het makkelijker is deze te gebruiken. En het laatste voornemen is om te genieten. Soms is er misplaatste zuinigheid, maar een potje nagellak is heus niet zo snel op. En indrogen en verkleuren zijn serieuze risico’s. De kinderen gaan weer naar school en ook de andere activiteiten gaan weer opstarten. Dit seizoen gaat Dochter dansen in de volgende groep bij ballet. Dat is best spannend, omdat er ook een aantal oudere meisjes bij zitten. Om de spanning op een leuke manier af te leiden, mocht Dochter mijn nail art voor deze week uitzoeken en je raadt het al: het werd een ballet nail art! Hier vind je mijn vorige ballerina nail art. Vorig jaar ontdekte het merk KADS op AliExpress en kocht toen twee layered stempelplaten in hun official store. Helaas bleken de afbeeldingen te groot voor mijn nagels (zie de nail arts hier en hier). Vorige maand heb ik opnieuw een paar platen gekocht, omdat op instagram Tatjana @muppet.xy steeds mooie nail arts liet zien en er enthousiast over schreef. Deze keer heb ik beter opgelet op het type en het formaat van de afbeeldingen. Vandaag laat ik de eerste nail art zien die ik met één van deze platen heb gemaakt.
