Dat duurde allemaal weer langer dan gedacht! Maar heerlijk om weer tijd te hebben/ maken voor de blog. Het is niet echt een titel, maar ik moet er weer inkomen. Dit najaar heeft Catrice twee nieuwe kleuren aan de More Than Nude nail polish lijn toegevoegd en drie kleuren met een andere speciale shimmer effect finish.

It took much longer than expected! But it feels great writing another blog post. The titel is a very long description, not so creative. I think the creative juices are a little out of practice. This fall Catrice has added two new colours to their More Than Nude nail polish line and they have created a new specialty finish in three colours.

Laten we maar beginnen met de swatches. Alle kleuren zijn geswatched op dezelfde wijze, base coat, twee laagjes kleur en tot slot een top coat.

Catrice More Than Nude nail polish 14 Where’s The Seashore?

Where’s The Seashore is een nagellak met parelmoer effect. De basiskleur is beige met roze ondertoon en de gloed is groen/blauw. Zoals in deze lijn hoort is het deels transparant. Catrice heeft in de reguliere lijn ook parelmoer lakken, maar deze zijn allemaal net een tikje anders.

Where’s The Seashore is a pearl nail polish. The base colour is beige with pink undertones and the shimmer is green/ blue. Like supposed to with this line it’s still partly translucent in two coats. Catrice has some pearl polishes in the regular line, but they are all slightly different.

Catrice More Than Nude nail polish 15 Peach For The Stars

Van deze werd ik heel blij! Peach For The Stars is heel subtiel en geeft je nagels een gezonde uitstraling. Wat mij zo blij maakte is dat het een gelijkmatige kleurverdeling geeft.

O, I loved this one! Peach For The Stars is really subtle and gives this my-nails-but-better look. I was really happy with the ease of application, no streaks!

Catrice More Than Nude Translucent Effect nail polish 01 N-Ice Day

De More Than Nude Translucent Effect nagellakken zijn ook enigszins transparant, maar door de vele shimmer ligt het aan de hoek waarop het licht valt hoeveel nagel doorschijnt. Dat kan je goed op deze foto zien. N-Ice Day is een witte nagellak met blauwe en roze shimmer.

The More Than Nude Translucent Effect nail polish are indeed a bit transparent. Although there’s a lot of shimmer in them and depending on the light you see more or less of your nail beds peeking through. I tried to show that in the pictures. N-Ice Day is a white polish with blue and pink shimmer.

Catrice More Than Nude Translucent Effect nail polish 02 Glitter Is The Answer

Glitter Is The Answer is een hele lichte roze tint. Ik vind dit een heel mooi winterkleurtje (zo voor januari, na de feestdagen).

Glitter Is The Answer is a very pale pink. I like this colour a lot. It’s a perfect winter colour in my opinion (think January, after the holidays).

Catrice More Than Nude Translucent Effect nail polish 03 Dancing Queen

Dit is een feestje op je nagels, maar wel enigszins doorschijnend. Het heeft wel wat weg van Catrice nummer 100.

This is a party on your nails, but at the same time translucent. It reminded me of Catrice number 100.
