Voor najaar/winter 2021 had Catrice een serie nieuwe kleuren uitgebracht voor de ICONails lijn. Ik had gehoopt ze allevijf te vinden, maar dat is helaas niet gelukt. De drie kleuren die ik wel heb gevonden, ga ik in de komende blog posts laten zien en vergelijken met eerder uitgebrachte versies uit die kleurfamilie.

For fall/winter 2021 Catrice has brought out a new series of colours for their ICONails nail polish line. I had hoped to find all five of them, but I was not successful. So in this and the next blog posts I will show you swatches and comparisons for three of the new colours with older polishes from this line.

Ik vind de kleur van Dream Me To NYC moeilijk te beschrijven. Het is een warme taupe tint. Ik heb het vergeleken met twee taupe kleurige nagellakken van eerdere releases.

Using words to describe the colour of Dream Me To NYC is not my strongest talent. So I call it a warm type of taupe. I compared it with two taupe coloured nail polishes from earlier releases.

Ik heb Dream Me To NYC vergeleken met Ready, Set, Taupe en Taupe League. Ready, Set, Taupe heeft een koelere en meer paarse ondertoon. Taupe League is meer neutraal en bruinig qua ondertoon. Ze verschillen onderling dus voldoende.

I compared Dream Me To NYC with Ready, Set, Taupe and Taupe League. Ready, Set, Taupe has cooler and more purple undertones. Taupe League has more brown-neutral undertones. So they are all different.

Catrice nagellak is verkrijgbaar bij meerdere drogisterij ketens in Nederland. De nagellak is dierproefvrij en vegan.

Catrice nail polish is available at several drugstore chains in the Netherlands. The nail polish is vegan and not tested on animals.
