Er is een nieuwe Music Mani cola afgerond. Deze keer was het plan er een verjaardagthema voor een van de groepsleden van te maken. Alleen door vertraging op de lijn, is de collab deze week pas afgerond. Mocht je nail art maken en muziekthema’s leuk vinden, het is een gezellige groep!

A new Music Mani collab was finished this week. It was planned as a birthday collab for one of the groups members, but it got delayed. It was all in good fun, so if you like creating nail arts and music themes, go check us out!

De jarige mocht deze ronde de bands en artiesten bepalen. Ik koos voor Pink en dan het lied dat ze met haar dochter zingt: Cover me in sunshine. Een favoriet hier thuis. Ook onze kinderen zingen het refrein lekker mee!

The birthday girl could pick the bands and artists for this round. I chose Pink from the list of suggestions. And from Pink’s song catalogue I chose Cover me in sunshine, the song she recorded with her daughter. It’s a favourite here in our household and our kids love to sing the chorus loudly!

Ik heb mij laten inspireren door de tekst van het refrein / I was inspired by the chorus lyrics:
Cover me in sunshine
Shower me with good times
Tell me that the world’s been spinning
since the beginning
And everything will be alright
Cover me in sunshine

Ik had niet echt een plan maar wel een plaatje in mijn hoofd dat ik wilde bereiken. Hier voor had ik allemaal verschillende nagellakken verzameld. Over een laagje van Catrice ICONails 51 Easy Pink, Easy Go sponsde ik een gradient met de kleuren Catrice 108 Pastel Lemon, Catrice 60 Let Me Be Your Favourite en Catrice SpectraLight 02 Iridescent Illusion. Daarover bracht ik een laagje Catrice Galactic Glow 02 Enchanted By Prismatic Spell. Op mijn ringvinger stempelde ik met goud een afbeelding van een zon en daarover weer een laag glanzende top coat. Al met al een heleboel laagjes om het gewenste plaatje te bereiken. Het was echt een prachtig resultaat de glinsterde op allerlei manieren.

I did not have a plan, but I did have this idea in my head that I wanted to achieve. So I collected different nail polished that could be helpful and just started. My first coat was a layer of Catrice ICONails 51 Easy Pink, Easy Go. On top I sponged a gradient with the colours Catrice 108 Pastel Lemon, Catrice 60 Let Me Be Your Favourite en Catrice SpectraLight 02 Iridescent Illusion. Then I added a coat of Catrice Galactic Glow 02 Enchanted By Prismatic Spell. On the ring finger nail I stamped a sun image in gold and I finished it with a thick coat of glossy top coat. I loved the result. It was better than expected and sparkled and shined in all kinds of light and angles.
