Het is alweer twee weken verder, dus dat betekent dat er weer een nieuwe ronde van When Colours Collide is geweest. Deze keer was de opdracht alleen met pastels te werken. Het was even zoeken, maar gelukkig vond ik een aantal Essie’s een een stempellak die aan de opdracht voldeden. Het resultaat is deze hele zoete nail art.

It’s been two weeks, so it’s time for a new round of When Colours Collide. This time the challenge was to use pastels only. It was a bit of a hunt through the collection and luckily I found a couple of Essie polishes and a stamping polishes that were true pastels. The result is this very sweet nail art.

Ik heb als basis twee lagen Matter of fiction gelakt en daarover heen gesponsd met Baguette me not en Zip me up (allemaal van Essie). Hierdoor kreeg ik een lichte maar niet effen basis, waarover ik de bloemenslinger gestempeld heb met Hit the Bottle Lemon Meringue Fizz.

As base I painted two coats of Matter of fiction. On top of I sponged with Baguette me not and Zip me up (all Essie polishes). This way I created a light and multi coloured base. Lastly I stamped the flower garland with Hit the Bottle Lemon Meringue Fizz.
