Op Instagram heb ik met de essence groep meegedaan aan back to school nails.

With the Instagram essence group the assignment was to make back to school nails.

Ik dacht eerst aan zwarte nagels met zilveren letters en cijfers en een gele nagel tot slot met potlood. Ik heb letters en cijfers gekozen omdat onze kleine man in groep 3 gestart is. Hij zal dit jaar druk bezig zijn met leren lezen, schrijven en rekenen.

My first idea was to make black nails with silver stamping of the alphabet and a yellow accent nail with a pencil. I wanted to make an art with the alphabet and numbers because our little boy started first grade. He will be learning reading, writing and counting this school year! 

Maar toen dacht ik ook aan onze dochter. Zij is dit jaar gestart in groep 5. En ze is met veel plezier het schooljaar gestart omdat ze al haar vriendinnetjes dan weer ziet. Dus heb ik er een skittle van gemaakt door het eerste idee aan te vullen met wat favoriete kleuren van Dochter.

And then I thought of Daughter going back to school. She started third grade with much joy. She loves going to school because of all the friends she has made. So I turned the manicure in a skittle adding some of Daughter’s favourite colours.
