Augustus was een lange warme zomermaand. Daardoor heb ik niet zo vaak mijn nagellak gewisseld. We zijn deze maand bijna drie weken op vakantie geweest en toen heb ik wat vaker mijn nagels kunnen lakken. Elke manicure wordt gedragen met base coat en top coat, tenzij anders vermeld.

August was a long hot summer month, so I didn’t change my manicure as often. We were on holiday for almost three weeks, that’s when I changed my manicures the most. Every manicure is worn with base coat and top coat, unless otherwise stated.

Cadillacquer Just Pretend

De eerste manicure van de maand was Cadillacquer Just Pretend. Ik draag het in drie laagjes met glitter smoothing top coat en een normale top coat. Deze mintgroene nagellak met paarse glitters en flakes was precies wat ik toen nodig had. “Just pretend” was een perfecte naam.

The first manicure of the month was Cadillacquer Just Pretend. I’m wearing it in three coats with glitter smoothing top coat and a normal top coat. This mint green nail polish with purple glitters and flakes was exactly what I needed at that moment. “Just pretend” was a perfect name.

Impulss INP020 Magic Shell

Eerste vakantie manicure bestond uit drie laagjes van Impulss nail polish Magic Shell. Dit is een transparante jelly nagellak met roze shimmer. Het toont heel anders in de schaduw (zie pink) dan in zon. Als accent heb ik met blauwe stempellak een afbeelding aangebracht van stempelplaat KADS Flower 051. Ik heb deze vakantie allemaal kleinere potjes nagellak meegenomen en twee stempelplaten en een paar kleuren stempellak. En deze nagellak is 8 ml.

The first holiday manicure was three coats of Impulss nail polish Magic Shell. This is a transparent jelly nail polish with pink shimmer. It looks very different in shade (look at the pinky nail) then in the sun. As accent I added with blue stamping polish an image from stamping plate KADS Flower 051. I brought only smaller sizes nail polishes and some colours of stamping polish and two stamping plates. This nail polish is 8 ml.

DanceLegend Miss Chief

Daarna droeg ik DanceLegend Miss Chief. Dit potje is 6,5 ml. Het heeft een dun kwastje, dus ondanks de dekkende formule had ik toch drie laagjes nodig. Het is een mooie nagellak met shimmer en holografische flakes. In elk licht ziet het er mooi uit.

Next I wore DanceLegend Miss Chief. This nail polish bottle is 6,5ml. Is has a thin brush, so despite the rich formula I still needed three coats. It’s a beautiful nail polish with shimmer and holographic flakes. It looked pretty in every light.

L’Oreal Color Rich 218 Rose Aphrodisiac

Vervolgens droeg ik een hele mooie roze nagellak. Dit is L’Oreal Rose Aphrodisiac, een potje van 5 ml. Ik droeg het in twee laagjes. Met het beschikbare licht heb ik een beetje moeilijke pose gedaan om de “glow” in het roze te laten zien.

Then I wore a very nice pink nail polish. This is L’Oreal Rose Aphrodisiac, a bottle of 5 ml. I wore it in two coats. With the available natural light I did a “difficult” pose to show the “slow” in this pink polish.

Impulss INP017 Sparky Lotus

De laatste vakantie manicure was Impulss Sparky Lotus. Dit is een holografische nagellak in een potje van 8 ml. Ik droeg het in drie laagjes. Als accent bracht ik op duim en ringvinger met lichtpaarse stempellak een afbeelding van stempelplaat KADS Min 029. Ik maakte de foto op een bewolkte en druilerige dag, dus het holografische effect kreeg ik niet op de foto.

The last holiday manicure was with Impulss Sparky Lotus. This is a holographic nail polish in a 8ml bottle. I wore it in three coats. As accent I added an image from stamping plate KADS Min 029 with light purple stamping polish. The photo was taken on an overcast and rainy day, so I was not able to show the holographic effect.

Essie Gel Couture Forever family

Mijn eerste manicure na de vakantie droeg ik meteen een hele week. Dit is Essie Forever family. Ik droeg het in drie laagjes. Mijn nagels waren toen echt aan de lange kant.

My first manicure after the holiday was worn for a week. This is Essie Forever family. I wore it in three coats. My nails were at the end of that week slightly too long for my liking.

Hema nail polish 61 Rose petals

Dit is mijn laatste manicure van de maand. Ik bracht eerst een laagje Kruidvat 080 Flamingo Pink aan en daarna twee laagjes Hema Rose petals. Om het prettig te dragen bracht. ik tot slot een laagje glitter smoothing top coat en een laagje gewone top coat. Hema Rose petals bestaat uit een mix van lichtroze en donkerroze glitters en holografische glitters. Het heeft geen zwarte glitters! Dat is een reflectie van de camera!

This is my final manicure of the month. I first applied one coat of Kruidvat 080 Flamingo Pink and then two coats of Hema Rose petals. For a less textured wear I added a layer of glitter smoothing top coat under my regular top coat. Hema Rose petals is a mix of light pink and deep pink glitters and holographic glitter. It doesn’t have black glitter! That’s a reflection of the camera!
