April was een uitzonderlijk zonnige en mooie lente maand. Daar hebben we heerlijk van genoten. Ik heb iets minder vaak mijn nagellak gewisseld, want we waren wat vaker op pad en naar buiten met dit weer. Elke manicure is gedragen met base coat of top coat, tenzij anders vermeld.

April was a very sunny spring month. We really enjoyed the weather. I painted my nails slightly less often, because we were often on outings or outdoors with the weather. Each manicure is worn with base coat or top coat, unless otherwise stated.

Rogue Lacquer Kaleidoscope

Ik startte de maand met een ode aan de bloeiende bollenvelden. En ik deed dat op een makkelijke manier middels deze topper. De basis is twee laagjes Catrice More Than Nude 06 Roses are rosy en een laagje Rogue Kaleidoscope.

I started the month with an ode to the blooming flower bulb acres. I did the easy way with this topper. As base I used two coats Catrice More Than Nude 06 Roses are rosy and I topped is with Rogue Kaleidoscope.

BKL indie nail lacquer Are you eating beans again?

Daarna koos ik voor een neutrale manicure met wat extra. Dit is twee laagjes BKL Are you eating beans again? Ergens vind ik het nog steeds jammer dat de naam veranderd is. De originele naam was You’re such a little bean freak.

Next I wore a neutral manicure with something extra. This is two coats of BKL Are you eating beans again? I liked the original name of this polish better. That was You’re such a little bean freak.

Easter manicure

Met Pasen koos ik voor ILNP Cake pop. Ik draag het in één laagje over een laagje Catrice ICONails 152 Lemon Butter. De afbeelding van de narcis komt van stempelplaat SdP 63.

With Easter I wore ILNP Cake pop. I wore it in one coat of one coat of Catrice Lemon Butter. The image of the narcissus is from stamping plate SdP 63.

Spring manicure

Het lente weer inspireerde mij tot deze manicure. Ik draag drie laagjes Masura Enveloped in tenderness. Daarna bracht ik over alle nagels een afbeelding van krokusjes van stempelplaat KADS Nature 081.

Spring weather inspired me to create this manicure. I’m wearing three coats of Masura Enveloped in tenderness. Then I added an image of crocuses from stamping plate KADS Nature 081 on all my nails.

Garden Path Lacquers Never such devoted sisters

Vervolgens koos ik voor roze nagels. Ik droeg toen drie laagjes van Garden Path Lacquers Never such devoted sisters. Voor een gladde finish gebruikte ik een glitter smoothing top coat onder mijn regulieren top coat.

Next I picked a pink manicure. I wore Garden Path Lacquers Never such devoted sisters in three coats. For a smooth finish I used a glitter smoothing top coat under my regular top coat

KBShimmer Such a smartie

Ik had KBShimmer Such a smartie al een tijd niet meer gedragen en daarom koos ik ervoor om deze weer eens te pakken. Ik droeg het in twee dunne laagjes over een dubbele laag base coat. Helaas had ik toch compleet rood verkleurde nagels. De verkleuring van december nagellakken was net voor het grootste deel uit gegroeid. Dus we gaan weer een periode van dekkende lakken tegemoet.

I hadn’t worn KBShimmer Such a smartie in a while. So I decided to get it out again. I wore it in two thin coats over a double layer of base coat. Sadly my nails were discoloured again to a bright red. The discolouration from the December manicures was almost fully grown out. So we’re starting a period of full coverage polishes all over again.

Colores de Carol Gala

Ik nam een gok om daarna Colores de Carol Gala te dragen, niet wetend of deze nagellak volledig de verkleuring zou dekken. Gelukkig waren drie laagjes voldoende om mijn nagels helemaal dekkend te krijgen. De shimmer en holografische flakes waren samen erg mooi!

I took a chance to pick Colores de Carol Gala after the discolouration, because I didn’t know it would cover my nails completely. I was lucky, in three coats my nails were fully covered by the nail polish. The shimmer and holographic flakes together were really pretty!

Project polish in a nail art

Deze maand wilde ik weer iets nieuws proberen met mijn project polish van dit jaar. Deze keer droeg ik drie laagjes van Masura Jasmine honey op duim, wijsvinger en pink. Op mijn middelvinger en ringvinger droeg ik drie laagjes Catrice Dream in Holo Blast 060 Prism universe. Over deze twee nagels bracht ik een bloemen afbeelding aan graderend in drie kleuren stempellak (beige, koraal roze, lichtroze) van KADS Flower 052.

This month I wanted to try something new with my project polish of this year. This time I wore three coats of Masura Jasmine Honey on thumb nail, pointer finger nail and pinky nail. On my middle finger nail and ring finger nail I wore three coats of Catrice Dream in Holo Blast 060 Prism universe. On these two nails I added a floral image in a colour gradient (beige, coral pink and light pink) from KADS Flower 052.

Wikkid polish Tangerine

Voor Koningsdag koos ik voor een eenvoudige manicure. Ik draag Wikkid polish Tangerine in twee laagjes.

For my King’s Day manicure I chose a simple manicure. I’m wearing Wikkid polish Tangerine in two coats.

Spring skittle manicure

De laatste manicure van deze maand is een vrolijke skittle manicure. Op duim en pink draag ik Catrice Aura glam 030 Fairy dust drie laagjes. Op mijn ringvinger draag ik essence holo bomb 04 Holo it’s me in twee laagjes. Op mijn wijsvinger en middelvinger draag ik Wikkid polish Snow White (H) in drie laagjes met erover een afbeelding van stempelplaat BM-XL217.

The final manicure this month is a happy skittle manicure. On thumb nail and pinky nail I wore Catrice Aura glam 030 Fairy dust in three coats. On my ring finger nail I wore essence holo bomb 04 Holo it’s me in two coats. On my pointer finger nail and middle finger nail I wore Wikkid polish Snow White (H) in three coats and on top I added an image from stamping plate BM-XL 217.
