Gelukkig Nieuwjaar! Laten we hopen op een beter 2021!

Happy New Year! Let’s hope for a better 2021!

Onder de kerstboom kreeg ik nieuwe nagellakken van Wikkid polish. Van links naar rechts staan hier Philosopher’s Stone (magnetic), Ophelia (multichrome), Tangerine (lineair holo), Amnesia Rose (lineair holo), Gold Dust (gold holo glitter topper), Snow White (H). Natuurlijk wilde ik zo snel mogelijk er eentje gebruiken.

With Christmas I received new nail polishes of Wikkid polish (gift from husband). From left to right it’s Philosopher’s Stone (magnetic), Ophelia (multichrome), Tangerine (lineair holo), Amnesia Rose (lineair holo), Gold Dust (gold holo glitter topper), Snow White (H). Of course I wanted to use one as soon as possible.

Ik koos Snow White (H) als mijn basis. Deze bijna witte holografische nagellak droogt iets mat op. Hierboven zie je twee laagjes, zonder top coat, in indirect licht.

I chose Snow White (H) as my base. This almost white holographic nail polish dries slightly matte. I’m wearing two coats, no top coat and this is in indirect light.

Ik gebruikte Born Pretty stempelplaat Christmas S001 met allemaal vuurwerk afbeeldingen en gouden, groene en rode stempellak.

I used Born Pretty stamping plate Christmas S001 with several fireworks images and gold, green and red stamping polish.

Nu komt deze nail art pas echt goed tot zijn recht in zonlicht! Zo ging ik sprankelend het nieuwe jaar tegemoet.

This nail art is truly beautiful in direct sunlight. I started the new year with a sparkle!

Hier in Nederland zitten we in een strenge lockdown en vanaf morgen start het onderwijs online. Ik ga het dus weer druk krijgen als thuis-juf. De kinderen hebben er in ieder geval zin in, want bij de inbelmomenten zien ze dan hun klasgenoten. Deze keer zijn de scholen gelukkig beter voorbereid en lijkt het soepel op te gaan starten.

Here in The Netherlands we have a strict lockdown. Tomorrow school starts online. So I’ll be busy home schooling the kids again. They are looking forward that online school starts, because during the classroom calls they will see their friends. This is the second round of homeschooling during the pandemic and the schools seem much better prepared.
