Het duurde tot de tweede helft van de maand voordat het weer een beetje warmer en zonniger werd. Op mooie dagen nam ik mijn foto’s met bloemen in de tuin. Die is door de vele regendagen heel groen. De vaste planten en de seizoensbloeiers bloeien prachtig. The first half of June was very rainy and cold, we had to wait until the second half of the month for better weather and more sun. Deze maand droeg ik 8 manicures. Ik koos vooral lente achtige kleuren. This month I wore 8 manicures. I mostly chose spring colours. A-England Jophiel and Catrice ICONails 173 Karl Said Tres Chic De eerste manicure van de maand was een nail art met A-England Jophiel en Catrice ICONails 173 Karl Said Tres Chic. Beide kleuren draag ik in twee laagjes. De bloemen komen van stempelplaat KADS Fashion 078 en zijn gestempeld met Jophiel. The first manicure of the month was a nail art with A-England Jophiel and Catrice ICONails 173 Karl Said Tres Chic. I’m wearing both polishes in two coats. The flower image is from stamping plate KADS Fashion 078 and I stamped with Jophiel. Spring nail art Daarna droeg ik een skittle manicure met ILNP Sugar high op wijsvinger en ringvinger. Op duim en pink draag ik Catrice ICONails 76 Do It, With Lavender. Op mijn middelvinger draag ik Catrice ICONails 165 Glacier Express. Het eerste kwartaal van het nieuwe jaar is alweer voor bij. Voor de maand maart droeg ik tot St. Patrick’s vooral groene nagellak. Daarna droeg ik nog wat lakken van mijn winter selectie. De maand eindigde met mijn paas manicure. Elke manicure wordt gedragen met base coat en top coat. The first quarter of the year had ended. For the month of march I wore mostly green manicures until St. Patrick’s Day. Then I wore the final few of my winter rack. The month ended with Easter, so that’s the theme for my final manicure of the month. Every manicure is worn with base and top coat. OPI Makes Men Blush Ik startte de maand met een neutrale manicure. Ik droeg drie laagjes van OPI Makes Men Blush. De nagellak heeft een hele subtiele shimmer die je niet echt terug ziet op je nagels. I started the month with a neutral manicure as palette cleanser. Deze eerste maand van het jaar ben ik goed gestart met al mijn voornemens. Ik heb deze maand acht manicures gehaald! Om niet steeds in herhaling te vallen: alle manicures zijn gedaan met een base coat en top coat. The first month of the year was a good start with my goals for this year. I made it to eight manicures this month! To prevent repetition: all manicures were created with base and top coat. Pantone Colour of the Year manicure: Peach Fuzz Het is mijn gewoonte om mij voor de eerste manicure van het jaar te laten inspireren door de Pantone kleur van het jaar. Dit jaar is het Peach Fuzz. Helaas is dit geen favoriete kleur van mij. Ik heb wel wat mogelijke opties in mijn nagellak collectie gevonden. Op mijn duim en pink heb ik twee laagjes Catrice ICONails 107 Peach Me. De laatste maand van het jaar is er een met meerdere feestdagen. Laten we eens kijken wat ik allemaal heb gedragen. Final month of the year is one filled with holidays. Let’s see what I wore. Catrice Chrome Infusion nail lacquer 04 Unexpected Red De eerste feestdag van december is natuurlijk Sinterklaas. Ik droeg deze maand van alles wat en ik probeerde weer eens een meer uitgebreide nail art te maken. Helaas zal ik daar wat meer voor moeten oefenen. Ik was oktober geëindigd met een Halloween nail art en had behoefte aan een reset. Ik vond het een hele geslaagde combinatie. Deze maand heb ik iets meer manicures gedragen dan gemiddeld. In eerste instantie was herfst nog niet aan de orde aan het begin van de maand, maar de tweede helft van de maand had meer traditioneel herfstweer met koelere temperaturen en regen. Hierdoor kreeg ik echt zin om mijn herfstkleuren te dragen. This month I wore slightly more manicures than average. At the start of the month the weather was still warm so it did not feel like fall yet, but the second half of the month had traditional fall weather. That change in the weather motivated me to start wearing my autumn selection. BKL Bee’s Knees Lacquer You Can Bury Your Own Nuts! De maand startte met de verjaardag van Dochter. Helaas is er wat tijd overheen gegaan voordat ik weer een blog post kon schrijven. De computer was kapot gegaan. Gelukkig hebben we alle data weer terug kunnen zetten. Alleen zaten we wel wekenlang zonder computer. Sorry for the unexpected absence. Our home computer had crashed. Luckily we were able to retrieve all our data, but it took a long time. Om weer in het bloggen te komen laat ik eerst met duim swatches zien welke kleuren ik op mijn tenen heb gedragen. Ik draag een pedicure gemiddeld drie weken. Ik ben deze maand gestart met de nagellakken van mijn zomerselectie. Met de Barbie film die uitkwam, heb ik ook meer roze gedragen. This month I started wearing de polishes from my summer nail polish rack. And with the opening of the Barbie movie, I chose more pink. Catrice 141 Jelly-licious met essence 07 pinkVENTURES Als jaren kijk foto’s naar creatieve ‘jelly sandwiches’. Maar ik heb deze maand er voor het eerst een gedragen. Ik heb deze opgebouwd door eerst een laagje Catrice Jelly-licious aan te brengen, dan een laagje essence pinkVENTURES en dan weer een laagje Catrice Jelly-licious. Ik vond het een hele geslaagde combinatie! For many years I look at pictures of creative “jelly sandwiches’. But this is the first one I made myself. Deze maand is het mij gelukt om gemiddeld twee keer per week mijn nagels te lakken. Bereid je voor op een lange blog post! This month I managed to change my nails about twice a week. So prepare for a long blog post! Catrice Spectra Light 02 Iridescent Illusion with A England The Wizard Holo Topcoat Mijn eerste manicure van de maand was een wat oudere nagellak van Catrice. Namelijk uit de Spectra Light lijn, die volgens mij uit 2018 is. De nagellak brengt prima aan en is dekkend in twee laagjes. Het is een roze parelmoer nagellak met een duochrome shimmer. De shimmer is blauw naar geel. Daarnaast heb je nog de zilveren parelmoer. Dus afhankelijk van de lichtval is er steeds iets anders op je nagels te zien. Voor nog wat extra sprankel heb ik het de holo topcoat van A England aangebracht. My first manicure this month was an older polish by Catrice.
