Het duurde tot de tweede helft van de maand voordat het weer een beetje warmer en zonniger werd. Op mooie dagen nam ik mijn foto’s met bloemen in de tuin. Die is door de vele regendagen heel groen. De vaste planten en de seizoensbloeiers bloeien prachtig.

The first half of June was very rainy and cold, we had to wait until the second half of the month for better weather and more sun. On sunny days I took my polish pictures in the garden near the flowers. The garden loved all the rain and is very green. The regular annuals en perennials flowered beautifully.

Essie Gel Couture dress call

De eerste manicure van de maand was met Essie Gel Couture dress call in twee laagjes met top coat. Het was een grijs en regenachtig weekeinde, maar mijn nagels gaven gelukkig nog wat lente. Het is een mooie lilatint.

The first manicure for the month was worn during an overcast and rainy weekend. Luckily my nails gave some spring with Essie Gel Couture dress call in two coats with top coat. It’s a beautiful shade of lilac.

Nicole by OPI Yellow It’s Me with accent nail art

Het was nog steeds regenachtig en grijs dus koos ik voor een gele nagellak. Nu weet ik dat Yellow It’s Me niet volledig dekt, maar wel een mooie shimmer heeft. Daarom bracht ik eerst 1 laagje Catrice 68 Turn the lights on en daarna twee laagjes Nicole by OPI Yellow It’s Me. Als accent bracht ik op mijn duim en ringvinger OPI Pearl Diver in drie laagjes aan met water decals. Ik werkte alles af met een top coat.

It was still overcast and rainy, so I chose a yellow manicure. I know that Yellow It’s Me is not fully opaque, but it has a pretty shimmer. So I used one coat of Catrice 68 Turn the lights on as undie and added two coats of Nicole by OPI Yellow It’s Me. As accent on thumb and ring finger nail I painted three coats of OPI Pearl Diver and added water decals. Everything was finished with a top coat.

Essie Gel Couture sunrush metal

De volgende zonnige kleur tijdens de regenachtige dagen was Essie Gel Couture sunrush metal in drie laagjes met top coat. De kleur was niet helemaal zoals ik had gehoopt, want het was meer oranje dan koraalkleurig tegen mijn huidskleur.

The next sunny colour during rainy days was Essie Gel Couture sunrush metal. I wore it in three coats with top coat. The colour was more orange than coral against my skin tone, so I didn’t love it completely.

Essence Holobomb 02 Holo Moly

Zodra er meer zonnige perioden kwamen, koos ik voor de holografische nagellakken. De eerste was Essence Holo Moly. Ik draag het in twee laagjes met top coat. Als alles droog is (ook de top coat), is de nagellak ontzettend holografisch. Prachtig!

As soon as the sunny periods came, I chose for holographic nail polishes. The first one was Essence Holo Moly. I’m wearing it in two coats with top coat. After everything is fully dried (including the top coat), you can see the holo rainbows. I loved it.

A England Elizabeth with accent nail art

Daarna koos ik voor A England Elizabeth. Als accent nail art droeg ik Catrice ICONails 162 Plummy Yummy in twee laagjes met een laagje essence 01 Deer Me, Keep Sparkling! en een bloemenafbeelding van BornPretty stempelplaat BP-X38 Daisy. Elizabeth draag ik ook in twee laagjes. En alles is afgewerkt met een laagje top coat.

Next I chose A England Elizabeth. As accent nail art I chose Catrice ICONails 162 Plummy Yummy in two coats with one coat of essence 01 Deer Me, Keep Sparkling! and a flower image from BornPretty stamping plate BP-X38 Daisy. I wore Elizabeth in two coats. And everything was made extra shiny with a layer of top coat.

Essence 04 Bonbon Babe in jelly sandwich

Daarna had ik zin in flakies. Ik had recent Bonbon Babe gekocht van de essence Jelly lijn. Deze jelly nagellakken zijn licht geparfumeerd. Ik creëerde een “jelly sandwich” door eerst een laag Bonbon Babe, dan een laagje Colores de Carol Flame en daarna weer een laagje Bonbon Babe. Met een laagje top coat was het klaar.

Next I wanted to wear flakies. I had just bought Bonbon Baby from the essence Jelly nail polishes. These jelly polishes are slightly perfumed. I made a “jelly sandwich” by first painting a layer of Bonbon Babe, than a layer of Colores de Carol Flame and then another layer of Bonbon Baby. I finished it off with a layer of top coat.

Essie cute as a button with Pride month nail art

Ik probeer in juni ook meestal een pride nail art te dragen. Deze keer wilde ik een accent nail art maken in regenboog kleuren met een hartjes stempel. De afbeelding komt van Dashica Infinity Nails 88 en ik heb de volgende stempellakken gebruikt: KADS (rood en blauw, komen uit een set en hebben geen naam of nummer), Twinkled T Sausey (als oranje), Hit the bottle Lemon Meringue Fizz (licht geel), Hit the bottle Cactus Juice (groen), CJS nummer 016 (paars). De basis is Catrice ICONails 149 Vanilla Chai. De andere nagels hebben twee laagjes Essie cute as a button. Daarna is alles afgewerkt met een laagje top coat.

In June I try (in most years) to wear a pride nail art. This year I wanted to create an accent nail art in rainbow colours with a heart pattern. The stamping image is from Dashica stamping plate Infinity Nails 88 and I used the following stamping polishes: KADS (red and blue, the come from a set and don’t have a name or number), Twinkled T Saucey (as orange), Hit the bottle Lemon Meringue Fizz (light yellow), Hit the bottle Cactus Juice (green), CJS number 016 (purple). The base is Catrice ICONails 149 Vanilla Chai. The other nails are in two coats Essie cute as a button. Everything is topped off with a layer of top coat.

A England Peaseblossom a Fairy

Daarna droeg ik een oudere A England namelijk Peaseblossom a Fairy. Ik draag het in twee laagjes met top coat. Als accent draag ik een dunne lijnen stempel van een vlinder op een bloem van KADS Nature 069.

Next I wore an older A England polish: Peaseblossom a Fairy. I’m wearing it in two coats with top coat. As accent I wore a thin line stamping image of a butterfly on flower from KADS Nature 069.

Essie backseat besties with Catrice Rose Side Of Life

De volgende manicure was met Essie backseat besties. Deze droeg ik in twee laagjes en daarover deed ik de topper Catrice Dream in Glowy Blush 080 Rose Side Of Life. Als accent stempelde ik wat paardenbloem pluisjes van KADS stempelplaat Flower 065. Daarna werkte ik het af met een laagje top coat.

The next manicure was with Essie backseat besties. I wore this in two coats and topped it with Catrice Dream in Glowy Blush 080 Rose Side Of Life. As accent I stamped an image of dandelion fluff from KADS stamping plate Flower 065. Then I finished it with a layer of top coat.

Cadillacquer If You’re A Bird, I’m A Bird

Toen startte eindelijk de zomer met warm en zonnig weer. Tijd om een nagellak met reflective glitter te dragen. Ik koos voor Cadillacquer If You’re A Bird, I’m A Bird. Deze nagellak heeft een sterke paarse naar perzik naar groene shimmer en groene reflective glitter. Ik droeg het in drie laagjes met een laagje glitter smoothing top coat en een gewone top coat.

Then it finally was warm and sunny summer weather. Time to wear a polish with reflective glitter. I chose to wear Cadillacquer If You’re A Bird, I’m A Bird. It’s a green polish with a strong purple to peach to green shimmer and green reflective glitter. I wore it in three coats with a glitter smoothing top coat and a regular top coat.

ILNP Misbehaving

De laatste nagellak van de maand was ILNP Misbehaving. Dit is een neon roze nagellak met holografische flakes. Ik droeg het in drie laagjes met top coat.

The last manicure of the month was ILNP Misbehaving. This is a neon pink nail polish with holographic flakes. I wore it in three coats with top coat.
